Almost two hours of weekender. TGIW
Blood and Plunder, looking forward to this – Happy Saturday
Is it me…..or has Justin been out in the sun…..looking a bit red there son!
Nooooo, the glare from that shiny whiteness has blinded me…….;)
Happy Weekend!
Awesome weekender
Aaaargh, it’s the Weekend!
Blood and Plunder looks better and better every time I hear about it; unfortunately I had to skip the KS first time around. I guess, with the push out to retail, that the initial factions won’t be available in the next one even as add-ons. I see there are some retail partners in place so time to go shopping!?!
Firelock have some nice “how to get started” content on their site, and starter sets as an option. I presume there’ll be videos on getting started coming this week so maybe I’ll hold fire for a week.
Been looking forward to seeing Blood and Plunder, actually. Didn’t expect to see it here.
A two-hour Weekender, a live blog on the CMON Expo, a live blog on World of Darkness: Berlin, and a live stream of Guild Ball Vengeance, all on the same day? I hope y’all didn’t have any plans for today…
Dungeon Crate KS does have scifi stuff as add ons. It’s the stuff they unlocked in the Star Saga ks so not a whole crate. Maybe next time.
Happy weekend! I’m looking forward to seeing the Viking table get built!
Seconded! A Viking table vlog would top everything 😎
Happy weekend. Played blood and plunder lots this year and I am crazy mad about pirates! When at school and I came in at home I always watch pirates of the Caribbean! Busy at work at the moment can’t wait to watch this tonight when in. Can’t wait for next month’s KS!
Happy saturday! I love yor caribbean table!
Does anyone have an idea where to get that kind of foam in germany?
I live in Wiesbaden and we have a Listmann, haven’t looked for it there but it might be worth asking them about it.
I haven’t checked at an OBI or Hornbach but they might have it. Maybe a fabric store where they sell fabric to cover foam seat cushions.
Good to see the shades of spring update! Need to get back to my project. It has been time neglected for to long. Hope I see loads more entries as we get closer, a few awesome projects so far.
Blood and Plunder, looking forward to test it, really love the ambiance
Well done to the engineers that figured out the unicast. Those miniatures look sharply detailed and fun to paint, not really my style but getting them all 1 piece at that quality is really impressive!
Going to be at UK Games Expo on the Friday, if you do the get together FRI night Wayland, myself and my friend Drew (from the U.S.) will be there. Otherwise hope to see you walking around the floor of UK Games Expo.
Viking terrain board idea.
How about something that makes the water look like ice frozen over along the edges of the bay next to the land. Leave the center of the bay open with water but make it look like it’s freezing over. Maybe like a thin foamboard cut with some ragged edges and a few pieces floating separately. Heck maybe a small ice berg type piece too so its not all perfectly flat.
Just some thoughts. Looking forward to the 25th Hobby Night Live. My buddy Drew will be over from the U.S. that week so we’ll definitely be tuning in.
Wayland, myself and Drew will be in Nottingham from the 29th of MAY through 1 June before UK Games Expo touring game companies and getting as much wargaming in as we can possibly manage that week. If anyone wants to link up with us just drop me a line.
WOW BoW, how doch you get these amaizig prices nearly every week. And yes this is a comment for the chance to grab the reload bunte 😉
Awesome job guys, gonna enjoy this weekender! 🙂
Happy weekend!
This game looks absolutely amazing, who doesen’t like pirates anyway?! Especially when you can command a whole bunch of them I would love to win this giveaway, thanks Beasts of War !!
Really keen for The Drowned Earth, also sorely tempted by Blood and Plunder. Now, I am off to pirate me some grub.
so much to watch so little time will have to catch up with rest of this later
The Weekend… Weekender Time! 🙂
Love the expansion to 4Ground’s Daldor set. I’m literally assembling their ruins as I watch this, so the timing is perfect for me.
Awesome weekender as usual guys. Lots of great information as usual!
Im really looking forward to gettig my hands on the drowned earth and that load game looks very awesome. Also thanks so much for showing off that galleon, id no idea it was that size till now, im definitely wanting some pirates and that thing!!
bit disappointed to see more promotion for Prodos/Archon since they still haven’t pulled their finger out and finished sending out the Alien V Predator stuff to their very long suffering KS backers
I need to ask where did Lloyd get that t shirt
Always love the weekender!
I really like the look of the brogganbridge terrain. I often “Frostgrave” through the ruins of daldorr, so some reclaimed areas will go down a treat.
In for everything on Terraincrate and the Drowned earth kickstarters, great projects!
On the semantic Kickstarter you can a couple of optional extras of sci fire scenery, doors Tec they were added on the 4th May
Arrrrrrrr nice to see so much historical like vikings and pirates man the oars land ohoy .
re load looks a must have
Got in the first B&P kickstarter, loving the game, looks like I’ll be adding to my collection 🙂
The game Alone looks super cool. What an interesting spin on a multi player game and the ministry look really cool!
Wait What? Sexy Vampire LOL only in Germany
So much stuff to buy and so little room to put it all in.
amazing stuff from tabletop world! definitely checking that out…
Nice long weekender to keep me company as I paint my flat (sadly not minis).
Great prize!
Great show! Looking forward to the next Hobby Night Live.
The Blood & Plunder ships look amazing… I have a buddy that got in on the KS but went pretty light and safe … lol… so I gotta make him put together some stuff and run me through a game!!!
Still waiting to play my first game of B&P. (I blame my friend — he has the rulebook and figures.)
Looking forward to the next hobby night live.
The Blood and Plunder ships looks amazing, I am happily surprised that they included the smaller ship that were more commonly used by pirates. Most pirate media portrays only the large vessels that most pirates could get there hands on.
The Drowned Earth is a cool game I’ve play 4 games of the beta rules now and am having great fun with it and the movement and reaction systems make the game feel very cinematic.
LOAD… Do I need a table top MOBA to go along with playing too much LoL? Why yes, yes I do.
Really liking that level of packaging to protect the miniatures, very cool.
perfect saturday morning with you guys….
Lovely show again. And those LOAD mini’s look stunning
Those pirate ships looks great and I’m really looking forward to the new stuff from 4ground. Hopefully I will get a chance to see the fabled realms stuff at the UK game expo in a few weeks.
Great video guys, thanks again.
I have to confess, I doubted that those one piece casts could ever be as good as they were hyped up to be, but those painted ones were beautiful.
I mean, I know I can’t paint as well as that, but its obvious you can get great looking minis from those things, and I think that maybe there should be a bigger deal made out of that than their is.
I’ve got bones and painted a few, these look much better, the detail in particular is much sharper they are easily good enough for troop models in most wargames in fact. Definitely something that could change what we expect from the industry long term.
That’s a “Load” of prizes you are giving away
Another great show guys, all that shiny and those one piece figures for LOAD look amazing and how do they make these without any of that excellent detail being ruined, have they used dark magic to accomplish this? Now my wife is looking at me and saying something in Polish and I know most of those words are the colourful kind and I have been told NO, will you guys stop putting temptation in front of me with all this new shiny stuff, too many kickstarters and what to choose. So see you all tomorrow on XLBS and now try and grovel, beg and plead with my better half.
We gonna need a bigger boat….oh look, there it is!!! Any rules for sharks in Blood and Plunder or maybe angry seagulls?
the evolution of BOW is a thing to behold. how can anyone in tabletop resist?
unbelievable work by the whole team.
show some love to the magical community of pixies, gnomes, faeries and leprechauns that make the magic happen here at BOW by joining backstage.
John and I (FOW bootcamp) plus another friend will be in Nottingham on Thursday night and in Birmingham on Friday. John is our designated driver, so we could meet up for a couple drinks!
Those pirate ships are godly. As a fan of League, I am a bit intrigued by LOAD as well.
Aaaaarggh matey. Gimme the plunder
Nice to see how well the Drowned Earth KS has done (its nice to see the little guy win on KS these days with all the major companies stomping around the KS system). Warren was a little bit incorrect with the Mantic KS as there are some Sci-fi Terrain bit you can pledge for (from the Star Saga KS…they look really nice).
I want the deluxe set, the mini in that games are amazing with details. Hope I can win this one.
I think Prodos have made a sensible move with Load and the way they have handled the Kickstarter. After the fiasco that was AvP (which is not entirely their fault) their reputation has taken a massive hit. Although running the campaigns under a different name (Archon Studios) could be seen as dishonest I think they had to do that to ensure that the Load and Vanguards of War campaigns weren’t tarnished by failures of AvP and in their defence they seem to have performed very well in those campaigns. It’s a real shame that AvP has had so many problems because it’s an IP loved by so many and had real potential to be a flagship for Prodos. I really hope people can start being a little more positive about Prodos now because for all the problems AvP had I don’t think anyone truly believes Prodos set out to rip anyone off and if you look past AvP, you can see they really do make some fantastic miniatures (I have some on my shelf waiting a lick of paint and the details are amazing) and are incredibly good and innovative with their casting techniques. I for one am wishing them all the best with their new Kickstarter even if real life means I can’t afford to back it right now.
I have backed quite a few Kickstarters and had only one go belly up (not AvP); I put that down to being careful about what I back. Having seen the way they handled LOAD and Vanguards of War, although I probably won’t back this campaign, I would back Prodoa in future – they have managed to work themselves onto my “trusted list”.
I am with Lloyd, Alone sounds like it was made for me to. Only thing is, I think my friends are going to make me play as the hero.
Today brought back fond memories of flying down a hill on an action man armoured car. Those things were built to last.
Wish I’d jumped on the KS for blood and plunder now
Another great show guys
Busy week end for every I see , great job guys.
Looking forward to the Viking table!!
“Blood and Plunder” and great terrain. One of the best Weekenders yet!
Blood and Plunder is really looking good. I had a chance to play it last weekend at Recon in Orlando. As good as it looks, it plays better. I am really sorry that I missed the KS on this. I will be picking it it up. They have really managed to capture the feel of the era perhaps better than any other game of the period. The fact that the land and sea can actually interact with each other is gravy. The guys at Firelock games are down to earth and great at answering questions.
So many cool games out there. It’s just too hard to choose.
The addition of the Dutch to Blood & Plunder is very tempting.
LOAD mini’s are looking very characterful.
And that last assymetric kickstrater game also looked interesting.
I need a few more days in the week. 🙂
I enjoyed very much the Blood & Plunder Terrain Build and the all the Hobby Lab segments. I always learn a lot and really hope it is a segment that continues.
I would love to get into Blood & Plunder, RE-LOAD and/or The Drowned Earth but I am maxed out on money for hobby at the moment and I blame BoW as I am now playing Guild Ball almost weekly when I am not playing X-Wing.
I really wish I had jumped into Blood and Plunder while it was still on kickstarter. The game looks fantastic the more I see of it. Of course I’d probably end up have the minis and never playing because my gaming group is pretty dedicated to just GW stuff.
Blood and plunder looks like an awesome game
Looking forward to playing Blood and Plunder.
I am seriously considering playing the Dutch. There is a statue of Piet Hein here in town and I’d love to play him in game.
The LOAD miniatures… painted… looks really Amazing ! 😮
Anyway, I think the Carabean table miss some Skull. 😛
Good show guys. Looking forward to more from 4ground. Blood and plunder sounds like a blast, but I know if I pick up another new hobby game, the wife will hit me with a frying pan.
happy weekend, great show guys! if you interested black sails and blood & plunder you should check out the work of Benerson Little. He was a consultant for black sails and blood & plunder.
Also I read his novel Fortune’s Whelp which I can recommend to anyone who is interested in the pirate period.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benerson_Little
Can’t wait until the new Blood and Plunder KS. Fantastic looking game and minis.
LOAD looks incredible, I may have to invest in a copy just to paint those minis!
On the topic of hobby lab, more please! I really enjoy watching the tables come together, even if I never plan to make a pirate table, I now have access to several videos showing techniques that I can use on any themed table. For me I like the step by step techniques more than the theme but I appreciate it that it is more beneficial for you to produce whole themed tables than just techniques. If you ever do make a series of shorter terrain techniques videos I am sure they would be a massive hit! Oh and btw that pirate table was incredible, well done guys!
Nice show guys! I’m very excited about the 4ground kickstarter and the Pirate game looks really awesome.
Great to hear about this game, especially with the Dutch faction coming up!
Blood and plunder looks awesome
I looked at the re-load kickstarter but my problem with kickstarters is that i need to get everything. I’m unable to just buy the core game, i want all expansions, so it get costly.
I’m looking forward to the hobby night again.
Enjoyed it last time and need the push to hobby sometimes. (I work better with deadlines, praise and encouragement.)
The Blood and Plunder content can’t come soon enough. Want to see what flavour the different factions / nations have and love the idea of acting out some Black Sails’esque warfare.
The Re-Load miniatures look cool. A single part mini with that much detail and stylish poses is a leap in the right direction. I have never played MOBA games, but I think there’s fun to be had with this game.
Glad to see The Drowned Earth has done so well.
The Terrain Crate grabbed me and twisted $75 out of my hobby happy hand. 🙂
I really love the look of the Warlord Plastic British Paratroopers box. Definitely on my wish list this year.
Great time to be a gamer.
LOAD looks amazing and their Unicast is quite intriguing, unfortunately each time they put up a KS I cannot attend it… always bad timing… on my part of course.
Blood & Plunder is a great set of rules. I am looking forward to seeing Native Indians on my table.
Really wanted to get in on the Drowned Earth but I just cannot stretch my budget to fit it 🙁 but I shall certainly be keeping an eye on it as it has been an interesting 1 to watch and who doesn’t love dinos
OMG that galleon! Just, wow.
thanks for the show. looking forward to tomorrow
Really looking forward to the next hobby night live, I am currently working on a table for a Viking raid on a monastery basically a big church surrounded by a dark age village, it is very important to me to have it modular, for such concerns as storage space( I live in an apartment ) . My funds are limited so I have gone the completely scratch built route. Also I don’t want the table to be too specialized as I would like to be able to change it around for different scenarios. With this in mind your foam terrain works out perfectly. The problem for me is planning out pieces that are multi purpose…you know so I am not stuck with the same river cutting across the board every time we play, also giving me the ability to play at different scales of battle, as we haven’t decided on a system to use yet…having never played saga I have to say that the battle boards are a turn off to me, so I was thinking lion rampant or maybe even Blood Eagle for a more man to man skirmish feel. Of course terrain density and space needed is different for every system so flexibility of the table is key. To be honest the thought we are having is cobbling together the rules form different systems that we like, for instance I love the random activation from Test of honor or bolt action, this mixed with the simple combat system from lion rampant …but who knows. The thought is to have all the miniatures and terrain done before we decide on exactly what we want to to do…backwards really I guess but I intend it to look great from the beginning the rest will work it myself out
Blood & plunder looks good, looking forward to videos on this game. Terrain crate is also a great idea wish i could jump into kickstarter.
great weekender guys as normal
Glad that Kensei finally has a kickstarter. It’s a great game and the minis are amazing! Backing this one for sure.
Blood and plunder — I really want to play pirates vs townsfolk more than pirates vs pirates. Asymmetric fighting with pirates raiding and townsfolk defending their homes. You could then have masses of ships attacking Fort Royale or something and have the most amazing board ever.
Great weekender again. Thanks peeps.
P.S give me that LOAD stuff!
Another great show, I hope to bump into the team at the UK Expo it will be my first time visiting. That pirate cove table is insane would love to build something like that.
Have the guild ball starter set ready and waiting for the next hobby night live.
Alone sounds awesome. Have to check that out
Excellent show. Loved the Tabletop World pictures but surely the guy in the gondola should have been holding a Cornetto!
great weekender guys the alone game sounds brilliant.
Blood and Plunder looks good, can’t wait, happy saturday everyone!!
I am looking at starting to buy up some foam to start making “Lloyd Hills”. They look amazing.
Another weekender and the Cmon live cast, plenty of viewing to be done
Don’t know much about LOAD. I may just break my KS *swearing off*, outta curiosity. [Curse ya all! 🙂 ]
Blood & Plunder is kinda my kind of game. Not really into non-heroic minis, but Pirates!
HNL… nooo, needs Weekender/XLBS! Ohs wells. I will survive. I hope. :-/
Blaster was here…
Great show guys, I like it when Lloyd and Warren are on the show together.
Evening guys. I´m from the island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean and yes, the month of February is usually our month of winter.Warren, you need to travel to the Caribbean and take a well deserved sun tan. Those legs are way too pasty 🙂
Happy saturday!
Blood & Plunder sounds interesting, massive boat too!
See you on sunday!
Water water every where. Need to get me a Deep cut water mat.
Blood & Plunder is a great game. I’ve played twice so far, and it’s great fun. The minis are easy to paint and look great.
Blood and Plunder is scratching the itch I didn’t know I had. Out of cream amy ways.
happy weekend ! any news about wolsung bootcamp?
FYI guys, I and James from Darker Days Radio will also be at UKGE
I am happy to hear about another Blood & Plunder Kickstarter. I missed the boat (heh) with the first one, and have been in the mood for pirate battles lately.
Great prize, love the mini’s. Wish I could paint as good as the studio painters though.
Great show guys!
With the mantic terrain ks, they added some sci-fi pieces from the star saga ks as an add on – they are there, right down at the bottom in the star saga branding.
The pieces aren’t new or anything (or new for this ks at least)/
Dude, those Load minis are looking sweeeeeet!
New to site, but huge Wargamer. Just started getting into Blood & Plunder. Have figs, and some ships. Love it!
That was a great table they built for Plunder and I love the idea taking tables from beginning to end. I learned a ton on this last one.
Mantic’s Terraincrate doesn’t have a sci ficrate but does have sci fi add ons.
The Blood & Plunder stuff looks interesting but frankly I got more out of watching the VLOG of the terrain build than I’m likely to get from playing the game.
The card activation system used in Blood & Plunder, mirrors the suit order used in the card game Bridge. To help remember it, it’s in alphabetical order, lowest to highest, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, (CDHS). Great Weekender guys.
I would never have taken Lloyd for a tree twizzler.
Now I must get some new terrain, even if it just will be for display…
I was torn about whether or not to back re-load given the history with Prodos but decided to risk it with the $99 pledge, still don’t trust them enough to give them 399!
Nice show, but where’s the tank guy, we didn’t even get sniff of his tool this week.
Shame.
Awsome VLOG, followed it with great interest this week – more with this type of format would be welcome.
I can’t stop imagining all the cross overs with the Caribbean Assassins creed game you could do. Looks great.
You guys are on fire with the table build – looks great. Re load looks interesting too.
Thats one beautiful pirate table. Makes me want to play that game right now. I’m always concerned though, that beautiful decorated tables are awkward to play on. That being said, when i win nthe lottery and buy my mansion, I’ll be setting up rooms filled with tables like that.
Great advice as always.
There is almost physically not enough time in the weekend to keep up with you guys any more!
need more sponge 🙁
It’s taken me a whole day, as there is so much awesome content, thanks guys, another great show!
pirates…vikings?! I need a table full of them goodies!!
You blokes need to have a “Warning Watching this segment may be hazardous to your wallet” label ……… I resisted Blood and Plunder the first time (only just) but damn that looks good and your bloody enthusiasm is contagious …… Then you follow it up with 4Grounds Fable Realms stuff that has already made me peel off all of my financial clothes and scream “Take me I’m yours” ……………you people have no respect for my financial virtue…… b@st@rds
The Weekeder and XLBS are my anchors for BoW and the weekend. The idea of Hobby Night Live OR the Weekender does not fill me with rainbows, but it is completely understandable given the time and resources you have to create content. I hope that as you develop, you will have the resources to do both if HNL catches on. Plus, you know, another edition of Reroll would be nice too. 🙂
Big content weekend this one… and I’m only getting started on the catch up on Sunday night!!! I really should try to get into the Shades of Spring
The Load stuff is certainly pretty.
Trying to resist Mantics terrain crate, but but but …..I can’t.
Prizesto win and the comments explode
I am more interested in Archon’s other game, Vanguards of War, but Load looks nice too!
Really like the Blood and Plunder! Waiting for more. I watched the play through for Load and it does play like a MOBA. Great mechanics.
Piet Hein Piet Hein
zijn naam is klein
and then I don’t know the ryme any more
For the Dutch Piet Hein is hero of our war of independence.
And I will say it again that any Dutch working for Spain in that time were considerd traitors
Piet is pronounced as the English Pete
super fun show as always guys, loving the vibe of alone. would be fun taking turns as the hero, and then as the evil masterminds – so you get to see both sides of the action dynamic.
and those load models and paintjobs.. omfg! just beautiful stufff <3
Blood and Plunder is simply awesome, was fortunate enough to be informed about the first KS, and its everything you could wish for: beautiful figures, even more beautiful ships and a fresh and dynamic rules system…
Load looks interesting, not sure on the game but love the models. I’m waiting for Prodos to get around to the Warzone re-launch with unicast models, especially as they stated it would be ‘Brotherhood v Illan’ – my Dark Soul force of choice (I’ve read the rules for these, and it seems that Children might be multi-based, looking forward to how they do that).
I’m loving that Galleon! It really highlights the game’s approach to scale and while I can’t say if the ships in Blood and Plunder are as big as they should be, it is clear that they haven’t shied away from making these ships BIG. Of course when your entire gaming table could be two of these on the high seas, you need plenty of space for the models to move around.
Sounds like another KS that I will have to back!
This time around I will be able to join you on the Hobby night, but as I will be visiting family all that weekend, I will be getting my hobby fix though you 😀
Prizes are looking pretty BRUTAL!
I needz more miniatures!
Blood & Plunder looks like a lot of fun.
Looking forward to the blood and plunder games.
Thanks for another great show guys.
Pretty epic Weekender 😀
Haven’t has time to check out the gaming table videos must get on that.
great show
Nice one!
This was another great video. I wish I had the money to back Drowned Earth, Keep up the great work everyone.
Those LOAD miniatures were AMAZING!!! both sculpt and paint!
Really like the sound of ‘Alone’ – a Single hero being constantly interrupted by 3 demented Masterminds 🙂 Gleee!
Again amazing prizes
Those Load mini’s look really, really awesome! Looks a very interesting game indeed!
Comment LOAD -ing, i realy want it
nice
Sadly, my weekend is over already … and I’m feeling like I’ve caught a cold.
Looking forward to seeing that great new table put to use!
By the time you read this i will have plenty of terrain coming to me, thanks Mantic.
Some Si-fy was there, i hope you kept up with it Loyd.
I like the fact that they are making ship that look to be onscale.
Another great show guys. Poor Lloyd.. Warzan toejam for breakfast. I’m sure your desperate for winter again Lloyd.
another great show
A dutch warsong in honour of Piet Hein.
The famous dutch privateer mentioned in the Weekender
Piet Hein, Piet Hein, Piet Hein zijn naam is klein.
Zijn daden benne groot, zijn daden bennen groot,
want hij heeft gewonnen de zilver vloot.
Translates a little like this
Piet Hein, Piet Hein, Piet Hein, his name may be small.
His deeds are great, his deeds are great,
As he has won “the silver fleet”
The Unicast minis in ReLoad look freaking amazing.
@warzan Vanguard of War hasn’t been delivered yet. I believe they’re planning to start shipping the core game in june, if you’ve chosen to get the core and expansions seperately (backer here of Vanguard, and that’s what their pledge manager said). Expansions in december, I think (can’t quite remember the shipping date for that).
Awesome weekender as always. And fantastic prize. Backing re-load myself, cause theie minies are just stunning.
But best part was a (possible) date for a new hobby night! Will be bugging my boss to get friday off, so I can stay up late for all the hobby night fun!
Some lovely miniatures on show in this episode. And the winners of the terrain competition were stunning!
No fifty shades of spring please 😛
Blood and Plunder sounds like its going to be awesome! I think I’m going to have to find some extra cash or transfer some money from my 40k 8th fund.
Thanks Guys!
Happy weekend 🙂 Must admin load does look good wish I could afford it 🙁
I’m probably the only one but LOAD somehow reminds me of Demigods. Lets hope the KS doesn’t follow the same path! Great looking game though! As for Blood and Plunder, what a fantastic KS and company Firelock are. I invested far too much in the KS, or so the wife thinks, but Firelock were very quick with fulfillment and the quality is first class.Cant recommend them enough for the second KS, though still got 6 ships to build and paint 🙂
Finally I find time for watching the Weekender, thanks for all guys.
Great Show.
Okey dokey you have persuaded me to watch Black Sails on Amazon Prime!
A pirate themed tabletop game seems interesting. I don’t know how well it would pick up here in the states though.
So lot of tabletop hobby to watch. Thanks for the show! 🙂
A lot of fun to watch, great job guys!
I hate when you guys tell me about awesome Kickstarters… my poor credit card 🙂
might hafta be a late backer for re-load those sculpts are too amazing
I backed LOAD and the base game was delivered early but the expansions/stretch goals were delivered way later. Not a big deal since the base does give you a lot. Those EPIC minis are breathe taking. Would some more of them.
Reload looks interesting especially since I find myself playing a lot of heroes of the storm
Finally got around to watching the weekender. great content again guys! impressed with the Blood and Plunder board
The Dark-Age Earth Caste are looking awesome
I was so tempted by Drowned Earth, I’m sad I missed the kickstarter, although my bank account isn’t.
I missed Load on Kickstarter, but seeing those painted minis now I can kick myself…..
I am amazed at the quality of the casting on those one piece minis and the painted models just bring out the detail which looks incredible……
Went straight to Tabletop World. That’s some world class terrain.
LOAD could be interesting if it truly plays like a MOBA.
All those beautiful games! I need a fourth job just to consider them all. Great work guys, keep it up.
I see a few comments on the thread about Prodos AVP.
Funny enough I had a look at the Version 2 of the game on Sunday at a mate’s mate’s house.
Minis are lovely. I was impressed with the foam insert in the box which allows you to store them safely – nice touch. The rules looked pretty good as well, although the rule book was A5 – a bit small for my tired old eyes. However the quality of the tiles was awful. The artwork on them was good, but they had a shiny gloss surface which made seeing them, even in a moderately lit room, a bit of a pain. Plus the card used was really thin and as a result many of the tiles had buckled badly. He told us he had tried flattening them with heavy books but they kept curling back up again. So the game was pretty much unplayable as a result. He had emailed Prodos about it, but at that point they hadn’t got back to him.
So it seems even a Version 2, Prodos are still having issues with quality.
Looking forward to backstage and blood and plunder but gotta say load minis look awesome
Those miniatures look awesome
I’m impressed at how good the figures are for metal cast. I’m so into plastic of late, and I see so much better sculpts with plastic but the Blood & Plunder stuff looks so good.
Those bases in Load look great.
What happened to John’s Tool? I really want to see him play with some blue stuff! (thermoplastic molding material)
I create myown naval fighting game but on 1:1200 escale a few years ago, so now huge nice ships availables, lovely.
Great episode!
Played 1st LOAD Ed. Loving a RE-LOAD copy!
Blood & Plunder looks so much fun!
Great way to let me see what the game is about. What I’ve seen in the videos and posts thus far, has me hooked. The prize package is very generous too. Hope I win, so the missus gets into the game with me!
Also, if you don’t pick me to win a prize: Walk the plank, ya scurvy dogs!
