More DreadBall All Stars Teams Previewed By Mantic Games
March 9, 2026 by brennon
Mantic Games has previewed more teams coming to their new take on the Sci-Fi sports game, DreadBall All Stars. These teams will be hitting the DreadBall arena alongside others when the Kickstarter starts on 17th March.
Painkillers // DreadBall All Stars
The first of the teams that we got a look at was the Painkillers. This team appears to be made up of players from the Plague, as well as the Marauders and Veer-Myn. They look like they aren't keen on playing by the rules and I assume they'll most likely do a lot of what it says on the tin! As with all of the teams for DreadBall All Stars, they will be pre-made, so you simply crack the team out of the box and start playing your games.
The full team features Project Ultra, Poison, Nox, Tox and Stinger. More about this team can be found HERE.
The second of the teams embraces the weird even more. What do you make of the rather quirky Krakens?
Krakens // DreadBall All Stars
You've got some very strange additions to the DreadBall All Stars roster here. One of them is a bounding amphibian, whilst another wouldn't look out of place in a Lovecraftian adventure. This gives you a slice of the Nameless alongside what appears to be an alternative Veer-Myn option.
The full team consists of Kroaker, Reek Reek "Payback" Rolat, Dribbler, Deadeye and Snappa. Again, more information on the team can be found HERE.
These two teams join two more that were previewed a few weeks ago. See what you make of the RBN Ryders.
RBN Ryders // DreadBall All Stars
The RBN Ryders bring another selection of the weird and the wonderful from the Sci-Fi world of DreadBall. These new All Star teams work very nicely in that they aren't confined to just one species. Instead, Mantic can explore all sorts of different combinations and bring us characters from some of the lesser-known corners of their Sci-Fi universe.
This set comes with Omega, Rho, Beta Simian, Master Chi and Zeta. All of these characters are explored in more detail HERE. It's neat to get these bios on the different players so early so you can make some choices!
Last but not least, we have the Sabrecats.
Sabrecats // DreadBall All Stars
The Sabrecats look like a more traditional DreadBall team compared to some of the offerings we've seen here. You still get a little bit of the weird and the wonderful in the mix but they feel more in line with the classic players that you might expect.
This set comes with Lucky Logan, Korat O'Keefe, Mau, Rex and Devon "Trooper" Rogers. Embrace your inner Sabrecat supporter and check out the details on the team HERE.
As mentioned earlier, DreadBall All Stars will be coming to Kickstarter on the 17th March, featuring seven teams of pre-assembled miniatures, all with distinct playstyles. You will also get access to four different arenas with new game modes and the Battle Royale mode. You'll also get the Championship mode with legacy cards and more as the campaign grows.
Are you liking the look of any of these new teams?

All I see is new Deadzone minis.
Just launch the campaign already so that I can try to back it before Gerry does.
The new minis look like a massive step up from the previous ones, which is wonderful to see.
