Last year, we saw a board game title over on Kickstarter from Renegade Game Studios. My Father's Work took players into the role of a mad scientist on the brink of human experimentation. With horror as the focus - stepping into the Victorian hook-fastened shoes of a mad scientist players will be aspiring to go down in history.

Concerned that the game would not be heading over to retail, a lot of players were quick to make their purchases on the crowd-funding game. However, Renegade Game Studios have announced that this title particularly will only be sold over on the Renegade store, working as an exclusive board game title, and not available to a worldwide distribution network. Coming as soon as this month!

Players will be saying no to the legal laws of ethics, in an attempt to become the world's greatest scientist, as each opponent will be rushing to complete their late father's unfinished work. Passing down from each generation, players will be defying morals and hope to reap and glory, constructing monsters through devious and dangerous experiments.

If you have a group of 2-4 that you can get together for roughly 3 hours, ready to endure in some mad science and shouting "It's Alive!" at the top of your lungs, be sure to head over to the Renegade Store for this fascinating experience.

The game is focused heavily on narrative, providing an app to thrust forward into the action. Providing serious decisions which can affect the state of play across generations. As players commit their lives to scientific discovery, they will be searching the lands for ingredients to produce concoctions and mutations to perfect their craft. Down the line, creating abominations and changing the course of history. As the game progresses, the world expands providing new stories and items across a wide map.

Do consider that like Dr. Frankenstein's monster - do not expect the simple folk to take full understanding towards the scientific sorcery. The villagers will become scared, sharpening their pitchforks - players will need to consider their output or be thrust into an argument of insanity.

Do not expect to finish the work over one generation - players will expect to see a few different cohorts of the family stepping up to the challenge. Each time a player dies, they will pass down their hard work and knowledge to their related successor allowing them to continue the ongoing legacy.
