Greatest movie ever Made… EVER
OH and 1st You may start your weekend now
Can cottage industries actually afford the table space at Salute?
How long will it take Gerry to paint Justin’s WWX figures?
Just visit all the traders who stock any ranges under 15mm
I am sure Gerry will be on the smaller scale stuff! It will also be interesting to see who could and couldn’t turn up this year.
I’m all in on The Thing game and the Norwegian camp add on. I agree with Ben I’m likely not going for the minis as I really like the standees…I’m hoping Aeres bring out standees of the B movie characters from The Thing from Another World. They probably won’t but that classic 1950s look would be a great addition. My only regret is I have to wait until next year for it to be released. It looks amazing. The Thing was a popular VHS in my clan while growing up and as we really enjoyed the nostalgia of Gale force 9 Aliens and the Fate of the Nostromo game I think we will enjoy this one immensely. I really like the look of the new Epic Battles Napoleonic, they look great and as Gerry said it’s a self contained campaign that will be expanded with the bulk rank and file cheaper in plastic…I guess highlanders and Imperial guard in metal before the Prussians arrive….but I do love my Baccus 6mm and I’m working on a 1812 British army so I’m fighting the New Shiny effect with all my might. Also great release from Warploque this week.
I can’t get to Salute so I’m so looking forward to dipping in to your vlogs during the event and making a list for future “Indies of the Week”… ???
For Salute please check in on Ian at Fenris Games as he has an Indie that deserves our support with the excellent bases he’s created over the years and has had to survive through the recent pandemic times like many micro businesses on a day by day based. Fenris bases go great with Diehard Miniatures.
Also check out Micro Art Studios to see if there are any plans for more Discworld minis and a return to square bases please! ?????
Raging Heroes minis are fantastic… at what point will we see GW start legal action against all these indies who are making brilliant proxies? ??
Great show again with Professor Gerry Macready (I’m not the Thing) and his tutees. Still not getting those subliminal images of Free in the title credits? ?????
Aaargh no new games allowed but Monsterpocalypse looks a hoot.
My weekend starts tomorrow… good night… ZZzzz
It’s the Weekender finally! ??
The 28mm war machines from ‘Ironclad Miniatures’ will work well for my ‘Space 1889’ collection! And it only took @avernos a few minutes to spend some more of my money. ??
Yay its weekender time.
The Drowned Earth spoilers would be great.
Will see what we can do
Don’t forget they are ment to be doing district 10 Gerry
on the subject of pill boxes has anyone tried the drinks bottle top covers for the Epic an dropzone an the like? @avernos
Send two an six we’re going to the dance.? Lol.
the phantom of the raspberry blower?
Another weekend? Meh – over-rated!
Another Weekender? That’s a different matter!
When you’re at Salute please check out the “Divisions of Steel” WW2 demo game that should soon be released through PSC. Dying for more info but being down under can’t make it myself. 🙂
Shall have a peek and add it to the list
paint the hats red then Gerry?
Really looking forward to Epic Battles: Waterloo, can’t wait! Have a fantastic weekend, all!
The Shadow was originally created to be a mysterious radio show narrator then, later, he got his own radio show and some films. The radio drama included some episodes voiced by Orson Welles. He appeared at the start in comic strips in the 1940s, when Bob Kane and Bill Finger first developed Kane’s “Bat-Man,” they patterned the character after pulp mystery men such as The Shadow. Finger then used “Partners of Peril” — a Shadow pulp written by Theodore Tinsley — as the basis for Batman’s debut story, at the end of each episode, The Shadow reminded listeners, “The weed of crime bears bitter fruit! Crime does not pay…The Shadow knows!” Some early episodes used the alternate statement, “As you sow evil, so shall you reap evil! Crime does not pay…The Shadow knows!”
You can find most of the episodes on you tube these
So who’s bright idea was it to give orcs shoes? Look what happen now!
Nice one Guys.
I own quite a bit of the trench systems and field works from Ironclad miniatures and they are really nice versatile pieces. I don’t think they are going to Salute but they do generally attend Vanquish which is a local to me, so I will undoubtedly be adding more to my stash.
I will be going to Salute so maybe see you there
I can attest that Ironclad Miniatures makes nice products. I bought one of their Steampunk drills for my Dwarf army.
I have an earlier edition of The Thing. It is an amazing game! Not sure I really need another edition.
02:16 @brennon “…the event…” me, screaming out of reflex “REMAIN INDOORS!!!1!!1”
It’s Saturday morning XD

Nice list – will keep an eye out 🙂
Pretty good episode again.. The KS’s featured make me want to spend more money lol.
TAG Raid is soo tempting but I don’t really want to do kickstarter. Such a Grognard.
the shadow knows what evil lurks in the heart of men
Speaking of The Thing everybody needs to watch this too

I love the 15mm Napoleonic starter sets for Waterloo.
I wish somebody did something like that for fantasy armies.
Great epic battles for fantasy would be great.
Would be interesting to see if someone was able to do something similar aye – just a one-stop plastic shop for small scale Fantasy armies.
Great episode! Some stuff that has definitely intrigued me.
Damm you guys, I now need to back Monsterpocalypse.
