Ooooo Tanks
The Trolls upgrade bitz are quite superb – I have the Eviscerators and both power axe sets and they are very spiffy. I especially like that where there are sculpted hands they’ve got a pin as part of the design, so you just need to drill a hole in the arm.
And Colonel Hart is a great Tempestus Prime for Kasrkin forces…
SLAINE and the Greatest movie ever made who could as for more? well maybe a BKDTHJBP yeah that’ll do pig
Also, seeing the Slain game dip so readily into The Horned God from the start is aces, and they’ve nailed Bisley’s art in miniature form. I won;t lie though, I hope it does well as I would LOVE to see them tackle Slaine’s adventures in time (Treasures of Britain especially), or even better, the more recent Clint Langley-illustrated Books of Invasion and subsequent stories….
Good evening all. Professor Gerry’s Rorke’s Drift was moment of the week for me! It has inspired me to paint some pith-helmeted chaps and chapesses… with a steampunk flavours. They are sitting on my table, undercoated in black as I decide which one is going to blow the bloody doors off… oh, wrong film! ????
Pen! is!
Forgot the rest
I was a bit unsure about the Slaine game but it’s wearing me doen.
Brendon is a monster; You’re supposed to paint Kreig Death Korps in Fuschia pink, not Eldar Corsairs.
ITSssss Weekender times.
the Cadian phoenixes ?
Thank god its Friday////
Lloyd get the wookiee’s mines.
I like the Trolls from Trolls under the Bridge
Does anyone know if the arms are detachable?
Justin the Jaffa maker?
Them figures are looking fantastic.
Welcome back folks… it’s been a long week
nice show guys.
Trolls under the bridge has some cool stuff. Love finding new Indy shops
I bought Mythic Battle Pantheon mainly for the miniatures as I’m a big fan of Greek Mythology, but the game was pretty good… and although I’d like to get the ‘fixed’ boards and rules’ Mythic want for too much money for the components and shipping which they should be sending out for free to fix their game.
Painted the core box, but got distracted by other things, so the Pandora box is still to be done.
Sadly… not had chance to play it much after the first few months for various reasons and covid has not helped.
Like many others, I’m tired of the ‘plastic heavy kickstarters’, especially those that are ‘kickstarter only’ or come with ‘kickstarter exclusives’ to entice people to spend hundreds of pounds on a game that will gather dust and waste a lot of storage space.
The Slaine Earth Tribe Warband will be perfect for a Highlander themed Kings of War unit! Happy weekender all.
I’ve got a big army of Rackham Celts that I thought I may use for Herd
We could win Tobruk, Tanks for the opportunity!
Great show guys ?
That’s why I love indie of the week – never heard of Trolls Under the Bridge – but they have some lovely sculpts. The 6mm tanks takes me back to my epic days – I feel my wallet twitching….
Happy Saturday.
I’ve already pre-ordered the all in bundle for Sláine. Super excited for this. I wonder how well the models will scale with others. I have a small Warlord Games Roman army and since, at one point in the comics, Sláine travels in time and fights the invading Romans I sense a scenario idea.
Also I have Celtos miniatures, just saying.
Also also, there’s a few miniatures showing in the video trailer that aren’t in the initial pre-order release, including the cauldron of blood, some living dead, that blue alien with his middle eye (forget his name), and some armoured fomorians.
That Avatar looks amazing. Welcome to the weekend everyone!
im hoping avatars of war make a 3d printable range of their dwarfs. Really want to make a dwarf army with their range, but never seem to be in a position to order their sets, and when i am, they seem to be out of stock.
Hey look I’m famous again!
I hope you got a good image rights contract
Iron Forest looks fun. Part of me wants to paint the minis. All of me would want to protect them once painted.
I’ve gone all in in the slaine game. I might be in the minority for preferring the pre Bisley stories. I loved the sky chariots story fighting in flying Viking longboats and I want to see the Cythrons

Slaine looks amazing!
So commenting here does not get you into flames of war?
it might do
It might do what now?
@brennon I forgot to mention Pendraken do dome nice 10mm Dungeon sets
Will Store@Ontabletop be stocking the Slaine game?
Tobruk, is invaded again.
Soooooo, what ever happened to the Silver Bayonet competition???
honestly I completely forgot until you mentioned it. When we came back from Christmas there were three other prizes that week. I’ll pick some winners this friday
I guess it would be suspicious if I won now? I won’t tell anybody if you don’t???
it happened before, I use a comment picker for the youtube winner and someone here had mentioned a prize had been missed and it pulled their name from the comments. So never say never
Sláine looks good, hope they release the Knucker and Sláine with the ‘laser sword’ kicking Elfric’s ass
wonder if they’ll do something with Black Hawk or Mean Arena.
I was watching the latest videos from the Tank Museum Channel (where they’ve been doing the Italian AFVs), and they said the Italian forces got an unfairly bad reputation for two reasons. 1, British Propaganda (and the victor writes the history) and 2. Rommel was all too keen to blame the Italian forces when it was his own troops that failed. They’ve said that looking at the statistics that the AFVs did quite well against the British until the introduction of allied tanks with the 75mm (when the Italian Tanks only had the equivalent of the British 2 Pdr).
