Inside the big new book, you'll be following the Soviet Red Army in 1945 and the Battle Of Berlin. There will be new ways to build a variety of different Battalions and then use them for Berlin-themed missions and scenarios set around the final moments of World War II.

As with all of the Battlefront Miniatures books, there will be plenty of content in there for hobbyists and painters too with painting and basing guides for you to get your head around. You'll also find expanded night fighting rules in the mix for when you want to get up close and personal in the mirk.

Alongside this new book, you'll also be able to snap up the Clash Of Steel Starter Set which focuses on the desperate battle between the Germans and Soviets during the aforementioned period of World War II.

There is a good mix of both infantry and armour in the set which works very well for the overall theme of the Soviets in, well, any war. If you're starting out with a friend then I'd recommend having a look at the Clash Of Steel set. The Flames Of War boxed sets are very good for beginners and well worth diving into.

Not to be overlooked, there is also the new Ace Campaign supplement, Battle For Berlin.

This new set is a card pack which can be used for running a narrative-driven campaign with your friends. You will get to create your own heroes and fight for control of Germany as either the beleaguered German Army or the Soviets who are pushing deeper and deeper into the heart of the city. A great idea for those that want to get properly stuck into the nitty gritty of Historical wargaming.
