Grey For Now Games has added another new warband into the mix for those playing games of Test Of Honour. The Samurai Warband is now available to pre-order, giving you a neat entry point into this 28mm Historical skirmish game.

Samurai Warband - Test Of Honour

Samurai Warband // Test Of Honour

Included in this set you'll get a Samurai Hero, Samurai Warrior, Ashigaru Sergeant (Kogashira), three Ashigaru Spearmen and then two Ashigaru with ranged weapons (bow and musket). You'll also get all of the bits and pieces that you need in order to use them in your games.

This is a rather balanced starter option for those wanting to dive into Test Of Honour but it also has something for those who want to dive into the tactical side of things. There are new Honour and Dishonour cards within the set allowing you to play with the "test" that sits at the heart of the game's name. Do you impress or bring shame to your clan?

Samurai Reinforcements

As well as the core Samurai Warband, you can also call on a few packs of reinforcements too. The first is a set of Ashigaru Spearmen who will provide the backbone of your force on the tabletop.

They are then backed up by more of the Ashigaru With Bows And Muskets. This means that you'll be able to hold your own and also focus on picking off specific enemies from afar. A musket can do a lot of damage when used with the right combination of upgrade cards.

I still really like the Test Of Honour miniatures that you can pick up from Grey For Now Games. They have lots of character to them and feel like they'd be easy to paint too. There is enough detail worked into each sculpt too for those who want to take them to the next level.

With a myriad of different warbands to choose from, Test Of Honour is growing into a pretty solid choice for someone wanting to battle during the age of the Samurai.

What do you make of these new sets?
