1st Corps has expanded its Home Guard range for World War II wargaming in 28mm with a set of British Shore Party miniatures. These are going to be handy for all manner of World War II Historical games but also some What If? scenarios where perhaps these fellows need to hold their own against an invasion force.

Sculpted by Mark Fuller, these are excellent and characterful additions to their range of miniatures. The Shore Party HQ is armed with a variety of weapons for plugging the enemy but you've also that fellow with a revolver and sabre at the ready for dealing with folks up close and personal.

Talking of being up close and personal, there is also a set of British Shore Party troops armed with SMGs. I could imagine these fellows getting properly stuck in during a raid or two.

There are also two sets available for you to choose from armed with regular Rifles. This means that if you're looking to play out a number of different skirmish-level games, you've got plenty of different troops that you could name and give backstories!

The variety of poses is awesome with plenty of soldiers aiming, reloading, spotting and more. It would be neat to see what games people are interested in using these miniatures in. Do you go for something Pulpy or would you prefer something Historical? Maybe a mix of the two!
