Flank March Bring New Cold War British Soldiers To Kickstarter
April 4, 2024 by brennon
Flank March Miniatures are now on Kickstarter with a campaign looking to bring a range of Cold War British soldiers to the tabletop. These are available as STL Files which can be 3D printed in 15mm, 20mm and 28mm. See what you think...
Lionheart Cold War British Kickstarter // Flank March Miniatures
The miniatures cover the British Army Of The Rhine. When it comes to their equipment and weapons, they are set up as they would have been around the time of Exercise Lionheart which took place in the early 1980s according to Flank March Miniatures.
All of the miniatures that you'll be able to get your hands on come pre-supported and test-printed to work in 15mm, 20mm and 28mm. The variety of scales makes them perfect for a variety of different games from Team Yankee through to BattlegroundHD.
You can see all of the Core Files available to backers of the Kickstarter below. Regular Riflemen matched with Commanders and more.

All sorts of miniatures are available for you to choose from alongside four different types of headgear for your troops. Flank March Miniatures mentioned, "a maroon beret or M76 Helmet for the Parachute Regiment, a green beret for the Royal Marines, and also the ubiquitous Mk IV helmet."
You've also got a whole bunch of weapons to choose from including "the L1A1 SLR, GPMG, Sterling Submachine Gun, Carl Gustaf Recoilless Rifle, M72 LAW, L42A1 Sniper Rifle, MILAN ATGM, 2-Inch and 81mm Mortars as well as frag and smoke grenades".
See what you make of the Stretch Goals that Flank March has also been smashing down alongside their backers...

The campaign also allows you to pick up a selection of vehicles and more from BobMack3D which can simply be added to your pledge if you'd like to load up your Cold War British. This is a really great collection of miniatures and I like that Flank March made the miniatures available in different scales so that they can suit a selection of different games.
Will you be checking out this campaign?
