Offensive Miniatures has now released two new sets of 28mm miniatures for use in your World War II wargames. You are able to pick up sets of Pioneers and Parachute Engineers for the Germans and the British.

Waffen SS Pioneers #1 - Offensive Miniatures

Waffen SS Pioneers // Offensive Miniatures

The first of the sets is for the Waffen SS Pioneers. The pack comes with ten of these Assault Pioneers who are going to be handy for clearing mines, barbed wire and more.

Waffen SS Pioneers #2 - Offensive Miniatures

The soldiers in the set (some of which are shown here) are shown in plenty of dynamic poses. You've got folks throwing satchel charges, planting explosives and getting ready to burn things down with flamethrowers.

Waffen SS Pioneers #3 - Offensive Miniatures

It's a solid set for those who want to put together a very elite squad for a scenario or two. You could play as a squad that has been charged with scouting ahead and clearing the way, all the time watching out for the Allies that are patrolling the woods or perhaps an urban environment like a captured town.

British Paratrooper Engineers

As well as the Axis options, you've also got the Allies. These British Paratroopers are doing a similar job to the Pioneers.

British Para Engineers #2 - Offensive Miniatures

Once again, this features a set of ten miniatures in 28mm scale. All of them are in the process of setting and/or clearing mines and watching out for obstacles.

British Para Engineers #1 - Offensive Miniatures

Again, you've got a bunch of miniatures set up for scenarios. As you can see, there are soldiers with mine detectors at the ready. Again, it's a dynamic set of miniatures that could switch things up in the scenario that I mentioned above.

British Para Engineers #3 - Offensive Miniatures

It is well worth diving deeper into the collection from Offensive Miniatures. They have done a great job of creating options for World War II that could fit seamlessly in with other ranges. You could slot these in alongside the ranges from Warlord for example for a bit of Bolt Action.

Are you going to be snapping these up?
