Kabuki Models have taken a lot of cues from Frank Frazetta's art direction when it comes to their own range of models and so now they're turning their attention back to his art with a model based on his work. See what you think of their Death Dealer Kickstarter.

Deathdealer (Main)

The Kickstarter aims to produce the model in resin at either the 1/24 or 1/50 scale. It's a classic piece with axe and shield in hand, mounted atop a fearsome mount. An awesome project for someone to undertake as a hobbyist and painter.

Additionally, the model can be snapped up in alternative materials including pewter and bronze.

If you're looking for more of a display piece then this might appeal to you a bit more. You can also get it painted 'Frazetta Style' to match the original artwork.

An optional level also allows you to become the Death Dealer as they sculpt your likeness onto the body of this warrior. You can also get the Bare Head option too which is based on concept work by Frazetta showing who is underneath the helmet.

Deathdealer (Alt Head)

Those personal touches are certainly inviting and it's easy to see why people have backed this so heavily due to the amount of detail worked into the model.

Are you tempted by this campaign?
