Gripping Beast have put together their list of releases coming your way for Salute 2015. Not only does it include the mighty Saladin, Knight of Islam but a whole range of other goodies including 4Ground Arab Buildings, Plastic Arabic Cavalry, Spanish & Moor Armies and even someone called Vagn the Fearless...

The Mighty Saladin

First up we have said Knight of Islam who looks resplendent atop his armoured steed with sword held high calling his warriors forwards into battle...

Saladin #1

Saladin (Close-Up)

Saladin #2

I think this is a great model that is packed with detail from his armour all the way to the beard at his chin. Saladin has always been a fascinating figure in the history of the Crusades and the interesting match-ups between him and Richard the Lionheart is still one that makes for great stories.

Armies Of The Crusades

It's no good having leaders if you have no one to lead. As well as the mighty hero Saladin there is also an additional selection of plastic calvary miniatures coming your way from Gripping Beast for use with SAGA.

Arab Light Cavalry

Arab Heavy Cavalry

Above you can see the illustrations for both the Arabic Light Calvary and the Arabic Heavy Cavalry which will be supporting your foot troops in the world of SAGA and further abroad in other games I'm sure.

This also leads into some larger metal forces that you could combine with the plastic sets above to give you even more models. Both the Spanish and the Moors are getting Starter Boxes.

SAGA Spanish Warband

SAGA Moors Warband

Both of these sets are made using a combination of metal packs from the Gripping Beast line and bundled together to form a 4pt warband that is perfect for getting you started in the game. I think the Spanish look like a particularly cool side and I love the charging cavalry who all look ready to spear someone through the chest.

Building The Holy Land

Last but not least is the terrain from 4Ground which you can use to build the Holy Land and indeed carry them over into other more modern settings as the building style hasn't changed in many hundreds of years!

SAGA Arabic Dwelling

These are some superb looking buildings as you can see and match up nicely for 28mm miniatures. You can also get inside them just like with any 4Ground building which is always a bonus for a skirmish based game.

What has caught your eye?
