Knight Models Showcase 3rd Ed Starter Box For Batman Fans

Knight Models has showcased a new 3rd Edition Starter Box coming to the Batman Miniature Game. This brings together Batman and the Gotham PD as they clash with Harley Quinn and her gang of miscreants and criminals!
3rd Edition Starter Box // Batman Miniature Game
Back To Gotham includes Batman and Harley Quinn alongside Gotham's finest and a band of hardened criminals. The Batman miniature is the pretty over-the-top one that we've seen previously but this stylised miniature sits alongside a bunch of badass-looking cops.

It is a pretty cool looking set of miniatures and I bet they would be fun to paint. The same goes for Harley Quinn and her gang. Harley is mounted on a rather epic scenic base but I think I'd rather chop her off that and put her on a regular one.

The Joker and Commissioner Gordon are not included in this set but they seem like good options for those who want to expand beyond this. Of course, as seen above, you'll also get all of the tokens, cards and gubbins that you'll need to use when playing the game.
It's good that we now have a smaller Starter Set for getting people into this game and hopefully, it'll then branch out to include more options. Bring in more criminals and heroes to face or fight alongside The Dark Knight.

As someone that was too late to get the Back to Gotham box i will get this, though I have to say it’s missing something without the Joker.
I do hope that Joker, Commissioner Gordon and the terrain will be available seperately.
I’ve always been put of the batman game in the past because of the price… knight models seem to charge a lot for very little.
The closest I ever got to buying was when they briefly did some marvel miniatures, but I could never get them when I wanted them.
So this isn’t a new ruleset, right? This is the same edition as the “Back to Gotham” set that came out last year that has these models plus Gordon and Joker, right? I’m gonna be pissed if that boxed set is already outdated.
These are the same rules as far as I’m aware.
Same 3rd editon rules, it is just a cut down version of the same starter set.
They have already announced that Batsignal Gordon will be sold separately so I’ll be very surprised if they don’t re-release Joker as well.

That Batman mini is changing his duvet. A nice change from foot on a rock.
More seriously it’s reminded me the Watchmen set exists and I ought to get one, having missed out on the previous ones.
Some great looking models in this box (and the range as a whole) but the game just has no traction here. Cost of entry being so high is definitely an issue but in general it just doesn’t seem to pique people’s interest. This box doesn’t seem to be on their website yet but it’ll be interesting to see what they price it at this time round
Wow, it’s so amazing. I’m a real fan of Batman and these miniatures are outstanding! I’d like to have such one, as the design is so detailed and it’s a great way to spend with friends.
