Macrocosm Miniatures are back on Kickstarter with a set of awesome Oldhammer Fantasy Dwarf Slayers who you could use to bring down deadly monsters on the tabletop. Sculpted by Lewis Collins and Alessio Cisbani, these are bloody brilliant.

There are six new miniatures for you to choose from armed with an array of axes. You have five Dwarf Slayers armed with twin axes, single axes and great axes. I like that all of them have runes marked on their weapons, making them out as proper killers who might have taken down a few beasts in their time. I think these would work really well as characters to lead your regiments in the likes of The Old World.

One of my favourite miniatures from the set is this fellow with the Great Axe. I am very tempted to snap up this set and use this fellow to represent my character in Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play.

This set also features an Engineer who could also be a slayer depending on how you want to paint him. Whilst he might not be Malakai Makaisson, he certainly looks like he has crafted weapons for taking down all manner of foes.

As well as being able to get these characters, you can also pick up some of the older miniatures in the range from Macrocosm. There are some great characters in the set that would be neat for expanding what you see here.
