Puppets War has now released two new sets of Vampire Heads. The first set is a group of Noble Vampires, perfect for those looking to create a band of suave killers who are able to beckon their victims into shadow alleyways.

Vampire Heads #1 - Puppets War

I really like the head on the top left with the shaggy hair and bared teeth and the smirking visage on the top right. These two would make for exceptionally chilling villains I reckon if you added a little bit of blood dripping down from the corner of their mouths.

Whilst I can see these being great for a unit in a Fantasy game imagine you used these for a Sci-Fi unit. What about a Blood Angel Space Marine squad with these heads, really feeding into their cursed nature?

I could see these being equally cool for a more generic Sci-Fi squad too where vampires are sent out in the far future as bounty hunter units to track down their prey!

Feral Fighters

As well as these more Noble faces we also have the Frenzied Vampire Heads.

Vampire Heads #2 - Puppets War

These would be more fitting for those creatures who have given themselves over to the thirst. Whilst the other Vampires above could probably be used as anti-heroes at the very least I think each of these heads needs to go onto a soldier that has been fully turned and is now hunting their old squad!

You could do a great skirmish scenario using some of the terrain from Battle Systems perhaps where your squad gets separated and then some of them are turned into feral bloodsuckers. You then have to race through the facility trying to escape whilst hunted by these now blood-addled killers.

What do you think of the head designs?

"You then have to race through the facility trying to escape whilst hunted by these now blood-addled killers..."
