Games Workshop has been showing off some new goodies for the world of Age Of Sigmar in 2020. Leading the way we have a new book, Wrath Of The Everchosen. This campaign will pit Evil Vs Evil as Archaon clashes with Nagash for control of the Eight Points and the Varanspire.

There will be many undead to shatter and plenty of Chaos Warriors to bring low when this book gets added into the mix. A lot of new rules will be included in the mix here as you bring together all manner of scenarios and interesting elements like wandering monsters, roaming endless spells and finally ways to build up sieges!

The forces of Order are certainly not taking a back seat though and I would imagine there will be some role for Sigmar and his allies to play in the unfolding story whilst Archaon and Nagash are battling for the heart of the Mortal Realms.

Gone Huntin'

As well as the announcement of a new book which will get you campaigning, you've also got a new option for Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave as Hrothgorn's Mantrappers go looking for something to add to the pot!

Hrothgorns Mantrappers - Age Of Sigmar

Hrothgorn comes with his impressive crossbow which is more of a ballista than anything and his hunting beast, the Frost Sabre Thrafnir. He also has some pesky Gnoblar minions who are going to make things very difficult for you as the opponent.

Hrothgorns Mantrappers Gnoblars - Age Of Sigmar

I really like what Games Workshop has been doing with the Ogors and Gnoblars for Age Of Sigmar. They've done some nice stuff with each of the new models they've presented for the army and as a whole they appear to fit in quite well with the aesthetic of Age Of Sigmar. You could imagine these folk being a dangerous band of foes to underestimate...

Things are looking up for those playing Warhammer Underworlds and they might give you a leaping off point for starting a new army inspired by these characters.

Teclis Returns

As well as the announcement of a new campaign book and a deadly Ogor there was also the news that traditional Aelves are going to be making their way to the tabletop this year too. Teclis has been forging a new army and it is ready to bring its might to the Mortal Realms.

This certainly sounds like it will be interesting, if only for the big new model that will represent the master-mage-turned-god Teclis. I still remember him in the stories of Gotrek & Felix and how whilst he was an utter wazzok he was rather cool.

So, what are you looking forward to from Age Of Sigmar in 2020?
