Seb Games have put the Void 2.0 game box up for pre-order and that means you can get ready to pit a Viridian force of Interdict Marines against the Junker Convict legionaries of Ironglass in a battle for colonies in a galaxy on the edge of oblivion.

The box contains fifty multi-part, multi-pose plastic miniature models, twenty Viridian Interdict Marines and thirty Junker Convict Legionaries, along with two metal models one to lead each faction. If you pre-order the box you'll also receive a free promotional Viridian Marine that you can see lurking in the top right of the photograph above.

Major Icharus Trask

The game is set in a universe where the homeworlds of Viridia, Ironglass and Prime battle for colonies in the farthest reaches of the galaxy. VASA, the policing body of panhumanic space, tries to keep in check the ambitions of the imperialistic homeworlds. However with the emergence of the Koralon what remains to be seen is whether humanity can put aside its petty rivalry or whether mankind will become another victim of the aliens.

Praetor Maximus

Along with the miniatures the box set comes with everything you need to play out Void 2.0. All the templates and counter sheets, ten d10 dice, a fifty-six-page mini rule book for Void 2.0 and a twenty-four-page campaign book - The Battle for Monoceros III. The latter campaign book is written by Mark Brendan one of the original creators of Void and I'm incredibly happy to see that Seb Games are bridging the generations of the game in this way.

The planned delivery date for the game is February 2024 so it's a couple of months off and shipping is from GB so something to be aware of if you're ordering from outside you may receive the gift of duties as well. Hopefully, this will be seen and picked up not just by old fans returning but by a new generation as well to give Void 2.0 the rebirth it so richly deserves.

Are you a fan of Void planning to return?
