Lascannon Lascannon

Well that was lot faster to paint then I thought.

The colors I used, is basically the same as rebel troopers, and the walker is painted the same way as the guns of the troopers

The little blue screen was painted with AP ultramarine blue, and then I made some small signs and bits with AP Electric blue.

I’ve been so lucky that a buddy of mine, helped me use magnets for the weapons. Now I can chose between all 3 weapons, I just need to give them a bit of paint.

Another bites the dust. I painted this model in 3 Parts, the driver, the walker, and the weapons.

I was really pleased with how it turned out. On the pictures below it has the gatling cannon, or z something… I still havent mastered all the weapon names yet 😅

There is also a laser Canon, and a flamer.

And the first part of this projekt is done. For a standard game of star wars legion you need 1 leader and 3 corps unit. And I got that painted now.

Now I can begin painting some of the more funny units. I have pathfinders, commandos, Jen Urzu, and snowspeeder to choose from.

  1. What would you guys suggest? 🙂

I mentioned some of the paints for luke but did not mention them all.

His skin tone was the same as my Fleet troops, with a light highligt of AP Elven Flesh on his face.

The hair is AP dessert yellow, with AP soft tone, and then highlighted with AP dessert yellow.

The light was painted with an AP ultramarine blue as its base, and then highligted with AP voidshield, and highlighted with AP Eletronic Blue. Then i gave it GW Guilman Glaze, and then i used the same highlight colors again, just even more lighly.

The leather parts where all done AP Brown Leather, drybrushed lightly AP skeleton bone. There are some buttons on some of the leather, and i painted them AP Silver Plate. And again a AP soft tone on top

His cloth was just AP Skeleton bone, AP soft tone, and then drybrushed AP Skeleton bone.

I might take some pictures when im done with the last fleet troopers.

Oh almost forgot the little walker is also done.  But im gonna make a post for that later. Thanks for all the likes and comment. They are always welcome 🙂

I finished 5 rebel troopers, so now I’m close to have all my corps units for a standard game.

So i started by giving them AP Uniform Grey spray.

The Vest and the boots was painting VJ German grey, and drybrushed AP Uniform grey,  and then washed with GW Nuln Oil.

The blue shirts are just AP Voidshield, and washed with GW Drakenhof Nightshade.

The pants, was just given a AP Soft Tone

The skin coulors was AP Baribarien flesh, and washed with a AP Flesh Wash. I painted some dark skine tones, with GW Rhinox Hide, and washed with GW Druchii Violet, and then a light drybrush of GW Rhinox Hide

The helmets was painted AP Skeleton Bone

And thats basically it!

I based him ap skeleton bone, AP leather brown for well the leather 😉 the hair was ap dessert yellow. Where all washed ap soft tone. I can’t remember the skin or the sword color but I will check it tommorow 😅

But I’m pretty happy with the result, it’s not excellent but it’s not bad either 🙂
