How do you work under pressure and against the clock? Renegade Game Studios are releasing a new standalone expansion for Fuse. This is the real-time dice game where players sign up to join a Bomb Defusal Team hoping yo neutralise the countdown of a big bomb.

Traditionally, during a ten-minute countdown, you will be cooperating to diffuse twenty different bombs. Players will now have new options to expand their tactics as part of the BDT in a new ten-minute title Fuse: Countdown.

One to five players will be provided with a new way into Fuse. A fresh set of updated cards and some new ones too will be there to make your bomb breakdowns even trickier. The standalone expansion will come with a whole host of new cards including the Spark Card. This provides a mini-bomb when players cannot place a die! Without these distractions getting resolved - the game cannot be completed.

Roles have also been integrated into Fuse, providing players with extra special abilities to speed up the diffusing process.

Working against the clock is a game mechanic that indeed sends me off into a panic. With the additions of multi-coloured dice and a rework of components, Fuse has brought me and my group many an intense ten minutes of gaming. Assembling the correct dice combinations within a limited time frame can be quite stressful but a lot of fun if you can pull it off with finesse.
