Mantic Games continued with the previews over the week of New Year and teased a few options for Hellboy: The Board Game that are coming down the pipeline later this year!

Hellboy 2021 - Mantic Games

Hellboy // Mantic Games

Four new experiences are on the way for those who want to dive in and get the most out of Hellboy. Needy Cat Games are stepping in with even more dangerous fun as an all-new Ragnarok Mode is in the works which should make things really darn tough!

As well as that we're also going to see Hellboy going up against his deadliest foe with Nimue in her dragon form (can't wait for that!). That means Hellboy needs a big darn sword (as seen above) and his team are going to have to work together to bring down this big bad as part of Storm And The Fury.

In addition to that, we're also going to be seeing the B.P.R.D graphic novels being explored as part of the B.P.R.D Files. Three new sets will explore different elements of the Hellboy universe that make it so fun and inviting.

  • Hell On Earth - With Hellboy gone, the B.P.R.D. faces a range of horrifying new minions as the world descends into chaos. Hell on Earth introduces new minions to add to your missions. From swarming Crickets to demons and Ogdru-Hem mutants, you’re going to wish you were only facing the Frog Monsters from the core game.
  • Pandemonium – If only it were just the minions you needed to deal with. In Pandemonium some all-new bosses are here to try and end the world. You’ll just have to wait and see who those bosses are!
  • End of Days – With all that, you’re going to need some new heroes and the B.P.R.D. is here to save the day. End of Days includes new playable agents that you can use to tackle the expansions, or return to your favourite missions from the original game and play them again with a fresh cast of characters.

So that's new minions, new heroes and much more for those who have played through the Hellboy: The Board Game experience and scratched all of the itches it has to offer. All of these options should be coming to tabletops via Kickstarter in the first portion of 2021 so keep an eye out for that.

How far into Hellboy: The Board Game have you got?

"So that's new minions, new heroes and much more for those who have played through the Hellboy: The Board Game experience!"
