Happy Sunday Backstagers, CoGs and OTTers!
Did Beh pick up a restraining order from Waterstones!
But … did Lloyd buy enough to finally build Rome for Gerry ?
Buy enough what?
clearly he’s missing something or else it would have been done by now, right ?
Those model kits Shae picked up are Chinese, they’re designed as entry kits for kids to build. The price point at £1.49 is probably close to the Chinese price lol…. I picked up some in China that are similar from another company which are the next level up, as they require glue for around a Quid a model.
I’ve also been in a Boyes and can attest at how random the stock on the shelves is…lo…Boyes is an emporium of wonder
https://www.boyes.co.uk/
Just what I was saying to the crew, if Boyes doesn’t have it, you don’t need it.
Flight of Dragons is legendary!
Who is the farming simulator fan, thats what I want to know?
you want to do co-op with Lloyd then ?
(I bet it’s Lloyd … )
Close but no cigar🤓
so .. it was your fault then ? 😉
Cheers guys, I hope everyone will now have their eyes opened into the joys of Boyes! 😂😂😂😂😳
Flight of dragons, so many great memories of watching this film.
I love boyes. They were fantastic during lockdown as they classed as an essential shop, so I could get everything for my various hobbies (sewing, cooking and toy soldiers) my daughter could spend her pocket money on toys or sweets.
Theres one opposite the train station in Whitby So unlike Dracula I would go in there buy a copy of White Dwarf and then get too drunk to read it.
How exactly does a solo RPG work?
normally they’re like chose your own adventure books, where you play through and fight combats or make checks using an actual character sheet instead of just rolling a die. This one layers in the duty of building your cursed box and writing your journal as you go to make it a more interactive legacy of your decline into madness
There is a small error on the mech the peg on the claw side will need some sanding, the other pins are a snug fit but should go together ok. I’m currently painting the updated mech.
Oh my God, crying here. Lol. I hope someone has the musical talent to make a Boyes remix from this video.
Happy Sunday
Oh, Flight of Dragons. The nostalgia when I hear those opening bars of the song. I wish they’d reprint the book the film was based off.
Also, I got weird Dirk Gently vibes when @brennon was telling the story of being in Waterstones while holding a banana. It all sounded very strange in a Douglas Adams way.
@ 12.35 – it will be interesting to see what the YouTube content scanners make of the conversation about Boyes!
thankfully it’s not on yourtubes so we’re fine
HAPPY SUNDAY..
Maybe one day I will get the full “what’s in the box” video. 🤣 the aim for me is to have a range of miniatures to put on kickstarter or on somewhere like cults3d.
I’ll do one and store it away on our drive for when you want to unlease it onto the world, how about that
Sunday!
Golden buttons!
Happy boys?!
I NEED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER XD
@avernos I really enjoyed our chat, short though it was. My wife bought Don’t Play This Game as well, should I be concerned? @brennon the Ahsoka vs Grievous starter for Star Wars Unlimited is pretty good too. In general the game is perfectly fun with just the starter sets. I showed considerably less restraint with my UKGE purchases, especially considering I had to fit it all into my luggage for a long flight home. Guards of Traitor’s Toll, Hairfoot Jousting, SAS Rogue Regiment, the new rule books for Dead Man’s Hand Redux (plus a few packs of minis), a bunch… Read more »
love the warbases stuff with the prints on them, really nice looking buildings, hopefully next time you pass this way we can make a better plan to meet up with some of the other OTTers
Agreed!
Happy Sunday all!
Boys sounds a lot like Trago Mills in the south west. The one at Newton Abbot is shaped like a castle.
@brennon et al : just finished the episode, thanks for the kind comments! @avernos The AK are in colour palettes rather than triads – I aim for for dark to light in about 7-8 shades and variants; AK, Vallejo are done this way. The Wicked Colors by Createx are more single colour, and were used for airbrushing my goalie masks – several of which have been featured on Iwata’s website. https://www.iwata-airbrush.com/blog/2021/03/16/grant-dyck-2/ – it’s one thing to have hobby capable models, it’s quite another to be able to take a frozen puck at 100+ kmh – but my masks do. 😀… Read more »
Great coverage of the Expo! Quick question what’s the best RC Tank to get for a newbie?
