Dam there goes my money again, 10mm a new scale for me too.
I am more and more tempted by the tiny scales…
I can recommend trouble maker games i went in on last Kickstarter. Been admiring Warcrow from a distance for a while but not dipped my toes in …..yet….Looking more likely and doubt I will have any regrets
Small scale fantasy might actual get to the table too
Yay weekender time folk’s 👍
Otto Carius to save you shifting all those boxes
Hah, doing the good work
too late
Good one guy’s 👍
It feels like there is a shift back or toward smaller scale massed combat games
All the small scales, I am loving it.
Didn’t the Fins join the Germans because of the Russians?
Tiny scales are the way forwards it seems. I’ve just got the Epic Warpath KS and currently building an AK47 by Peter Pig force. Great to see Twisted back.
I really like the bold colours that are used on the Argatoria display/store page models. Very nostalgic.
Gerry forgot to list potatoes as a staple of a Polish diet.
best episobe ever. i wish gerry would not interrupted so many tomes talking about fire and sword. ;D
😉
“Operation Buggeration”. Gotta love the Irish accent, especially at 1.25 speed playback.
Ugh!
It has been a while since a game has caught my eye. ‘By Fire and Sword’ has done that. It’s an era that I don’t know much of so that has me doing research on the people’s and armies covered. (of course a know so e of the British Civil War which would be covered in this if they were doing them but alas that is being done later….)
Anyhow, I’ve spent an afternoon reading about those armies and I did my homework ( assigned by Instructor @avernos ) and have watched ALL the videos produced by the creators covering the second edition. (and YES I do want a cookie for my achievement) 😉👍
Anyhow I’ve now to decide which armies to buy. I’m looking strongly at the ‘Polish Winged Hussars’ but up in the air as the other choice. Maybe Russian Cossacks or the Ottoman Empire.
(on a side note, does anyone know where to get those tshirts that say, “This, not That, for Rank & File Armies”, or such. Square bases ONLY type stuff. It would make some arguments go a little faster, I think.
you mean like this https://teespy.com/app/campaigns/teespring/this-is-not-this-rank-n-flank
That’s the one! 🤓👍
Glad to see small scale gaming getting more recognition. Argatoria is a great little game with tons of charm, and it deserves all the praise one can give it.
Such a shame so many people still insist on everything being 28mm+ because they don’t understand proper scale.
Just want to say i entirely blame you guys for showing such lovely 18mm AWI stuff and me finding myself on their website picking and choosing a new army.
Also smaller scales are the best, it means we can buy more to fill the same space as 28mm would 😀
