Victrix Miniatures has released a new set of 12mm plastic miniatures for you to use in your World War II wargames! You can now get your hands on the British Airborne as part of a big pack featuring 184 miniatures for use in games like Company Commander and beyond.

All of the 12mm (1/144) miniatures are packed with detail as we've come to expect from the folks at Victrix. You've got lots of dynamic poses with Airborne soldiers shooting, reloading, skirmishing about, setting up special weapons and everything in between.

The set also comes with some great miniatures for leading the way! For example, you can drop Major Digby Tatham-Warter into the mix with his umbrella at the ready. As has been pointed out by Victrix, the set comes with enough miniatures to field an entire company plus your heavy weapons and command elements.

You get Bren Gunners, two and three-inch Mortar Teams, PIATS (and loaders), Radio Teams, Officers, Ammo Carriers, Riflemen, Snipers, Sten Gunners, Flamethrowers, Spotters and Vickers Teams. The perfect set of troops for throwing into the heart of battle from 1941 onwards.

These miniatures would obviously be great for those playing out Operation Market Garden in 12mm and that push-up to the bridge at Arnhem. There are also further operations for you to try out with them including the offensive in the Ardennes and the Battle Of The Bulge and Operation Varsity.

Once again, I think this is a great 12mm scale set from Victrix and it's well worth looking deeper into the 12mm World War II Range as they now have full armies for the British, Americans and Germans and whilst the Soviets have a good selection to choose from, I'm sure a full army for them will be coming soon.

Could you be tempted to snap up these new 12mm miniatures?

"Will you be deploying these 12mm Airborne on the tabletop?"
