The folks at Modiphius have been showing off a few more monstrous releases coming to Fallout: Wasteland Warfare in the near future. The radiated woods and plains of Fallout's America are home to all sorts of beasties including some hefty Super Mutants!

Swan - Fallout Wasteland Warfare

Swan // Fallout: Wasteland Warfare

Swan is one such character that you can throw into the mix when it comes to your games of Wasteland Warfare. One of the nice things about this game is that it can be competitive, cooperative and even solo. So, Swan could be there as a BIG foe for you and your friends to face or perhaps a new addition to your already burgeoning Super Mutant warband.

Sticking with the theme of big, bad, nasty creatures - how about the Deathclaw Matriarch? We already have a Deathclaw in the mix for the game but you might also need something bigger and nastier to prove a real challenge.

I like the idea of including this big lady in a scenario based on your settlement. You have assembled a camp somewhere in the wilderness but, unknown to you, it is also a Deathclaw nest. This lady stomps out of a cave somewhere and takes a pop at you and your companions!

You might also find yourself ambushed by the strange and heavily mutated forms of the Yao Guai.

If you're a massive Fallout fan then these miniatures range really must be a lot of fun. The folks at Modiphius have dived in and put together some really fun kits, especially for those looking to really embrace the solo or cooperative side of things. Whilst I can see the appeal of a versus clash in this and The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms, I think the real fun to be had here comes from playing out more narrative scenarios.

For example, you're rummaging around in the ruins of some blasted township and suddenly find a bunch of cages that have all been broken open, an errant bloody arm lying on the floor nearby...

Suddenly, a bunch of snarling Mongrels come charging around the corner, clearly untamed by the previous visitor to this demise. Now they are out for blood and you smell very good!

Not everyone is out to kill you in Wasteland Warfare though. You might find that these wandering Mister Handy robots are actually happy to help you.

OR, they have been reprogrammed by some enterprising raider in order to lure you in before they strike! These miniatures are all great fun for those giving into the gaming side of things but I think they would all be super fun to paint as well. You have a lot of different textures and materials to work with.

Are you tempted by some of these upcoming Fallout: Wasteland Warfare packs?
