Happy Friday Coggs and Coggs soon to be ???
It’s the Weekend and a Weekender!
A couple of interesting releases – already backed Streets!
Happy friday.
Weirdly I didn’t get a YouTube notification or email… did someone call someone a cunt on the episode?
What? Weekend already?
I have all the Twisted Dickensians and regret not getting the buildings during the Kick Starter. New KS coming soon!!!!
Pointy boys are here 🙂
Quit Warhammer when they launched AoS, but those models are really cool. Might actually give AoS a go.
There’s a guy works down the chip shop swears he’s Elvish
the weekend has begun.
Must be the weekend!
Steampunk wise I think I like Wolsung better than Twisted.
Have a nice weekend folks! Here goes for the second chance to win the Lumineth.. Fingers crossed! 🙂
I just can’t resist steampunk minis.
Its the Weekend aer hoorrray!!!!!!!
I’m stoked for the ‘Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings SLOW GROW LEAGUE’. ??? ?? After @warzan talked about it last weekend I started shopping for pieces and then set the OTT Way-Back Machine to show me all the videos in the OTT library. I’ll be looking forward to Sunday’s new coverage.
Twisted Miniatures look pretty sharp. Being born a Kansan I go out of my way to collect minis that honour ‘The Wizard of OZ’ so I’ll have to place an order for some of these! As for the rest of the minis on Twister’s site, I see several of those that could live in my Hobby Studio quite nicely! @avernos has picked us another winner. ?
the Ork scenery looks great and warcraft’y.
love the show guys.
Impossible after starting my first Warhammer Fantasy Army with High Elves to NOT want these…
Excited for the weekend!! Love the show boys. Keep up the great work.
Hello Coggs Have a great weekend everyone.
As an AOS fan, the Lumineth need a general on horse such as the Liege Cavalos for Bonereapers. Maybe they do, not sure.
Those Twisted look awfully fun to paint.
Must say I’m starting to like the cow elves.
As always, thanks for the great hobby start to the weekend Guys.
I do like those new High Elves, and thankfully not a mutant elf-cow-hillock in sight.
But now I have to look into those twisted miniatures…
Excellent show as ever, I love the twisted minis! Have a great weekend guys.
Very nice.
Those Lumineth Realm-lords make me hate elves even more. The spearmen are ok but the rest… No. Thank. You.
Those Twisted miniatures are wonderful! Such character and detail. Looks like the sort of thing I should avoid for a while because they would be so fun to paint. Heck, Alice would fit right in with my Wolsung toys.
love abit of steampunk
That twisted stuff is beutiful.
BTW I think scenery Ben was refering is from another Aussie comany, Miniture scenery
https://miniaturescenery.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=17
That’s the one – knew they’d done some collaboration
Happy Weekender!
I can appreciate that the GW sculpts are becoming more elaborate but all I can think of is what a nightmare this new Teclis model will be to transport. Does anyone else get “I want Cersei to know it was me” vibes from his face?
Happy weekend and everybody stay safe.
I should realy get myself a 3d Printer.
Finally, the weekend arrived. 🙂
This Mythos stuff looks good, my poor wallet.
Those dice remind me of playing Howzat
Always liked high elves from the old Warhammer so these new Lumineth look like something I might be interested in.
The Demented games stuff looks really good. Egyptian stuff ooks ace. Lumineth have grown on me too, giant Mountain Cows for the win.
happy Saturday. great show lads.
@avernos you can get the starting models for the elder scrolls from Modiphius both in hard plastic and resin. The new releases are only in resin on their site.
Ik like the Twisted models. @avernos, how do they compare sizewise to Wolsung miniatures?
similar size, Twisted may be slightly finer at least on the Urkins v Scylla but they look like you could match them. I’ve no human sized gang members here to compare them to directly but I’ll PM you some photos mate
Lloyd:
“You gotta
hold it by the base
by the base
not the model”
Great show guys.
The models in the Lumineth box are great, and would fit into my Oathmark force.
Like the swordmaster and archers too, but the Teclis model is bloody awful, and the others aren’t great either
Great show the only thing wrong is the number of great minis tempting me. The twisted miniatures are new to me but look brilliant.
PS my wife is going to love you
It’s the weekender … the only time when ‘moo’ is a good answer 😉
I mean Holy Cow what an Elvish army 😀
I was a huge fan of the original High Elves , still on the fence about the Lumineth . Maybe a nice new army could swing it 🙂
Cheers! Thanks for the Show Guys.
The Twisted miniatures from Demented Games are really full of character and I have a number in my endless painting queue making their way towards the frontline ??…
Really enjoyed the show, thanks guys.
Those Twisted Miniatures are really stunning…
The Elder scrolls stuff is so tempting, hard to pick a faction like them all
Bring forth the Cow Elves, for there is milking to do
What flavour of Cow Elf ice cream will Ben and Gerry invent next?
Lumineth Liquorice
I love and hate discovering all these amazing models I am planning to buy and never paint
Here’s to the weekender, I have my hobby room sorted and can actually hobby hurray!
gotta love the weekend
@lloyd @avernos the answer to the question which one is the Mary Rose answer is none, because the Mary Rose was sunk during the reign of Henry VIII and the Armada was during his Daughter Elizabeth’s reign ?
not only foreign history, but boating foreign history, I really don’t care and like Sherlock I shall now do everything in my power to forget it lest it push out important information from my mind
Coming from the guy who has a German U Boat ???
Another Great Weekender Guys! That Twisted Game looks like a very interesting system.
Happy weekend. Hope everyone is safe and healthy.
Thanks for choosing Twisted as indie of the week!
WoFun ships might actually get me into naval wargaming. I’ve always wanted to do Napoleonic naval wargaming and also do the War of 1812 for smaller scale actions but don’t want to build and paint the little ships. If they move into that era I’m onboard.
I keep going back to the Parabellum store and hovering over the buy now button, thats such a good deal.
Happy weekend everyone.
I really don’t like the Teclis model… that looks strange… what possessed them to do what basically looks like a T-pose and stick her onto the wing? I mean… what?! At least they could have placed him down in front of the Sphinx… and not have him… look like the video game glitched out and didn’t properly render the model into the world.
Who approved this?! At least two people must have looked at this and said to themselves: “That looks good”…. the sculptor and whoever made the final decision to approve the model.
The sphinx looks great. Really dig that model… but man… this is a model that you can’t field without conversion work.
Nice prize guys!
Love that Eltharion model. Think I might try some LEDs for interior glow
Have got 100 kingdoms for conquest, hoping your tale of four gamers path to conquest will inspire me to start painting them up and getting some games in!
I really like Eisenkern stormtrooper. They really like cool and could fit in a lot of games.
Lumineth also look OK and could find in other miniature agnostic games.
I quite like the look of Twisted, the miniatures look really nice.
Watching this late this weekend, been a bit busy and tired so I’m best watching on my day of rest 🙂
The Cow Elves are bloody awful…
Emoo-elves? I love them.
Even without Warren, you guys are the best thing going for a hobbyist on a Saturday morning.
Jeeze only got watching this today…now i do like the new Elves, so now weekender part 2…yipppeeee!!!!
Ironically, I am more interested to see what Lumineth themed terrain releases will come, lovely as some of the models are.
Always nice to see some more WW2 Germans to give you army a bit of variety. It’ also goo to see some more releases for Elder Scrolls.
How do the lumineth scale with the old High Elves? I imagine they are slightly larger
I really like the look of the Lumineth….whole army you say….YES!
Happy sunday!
That was quite a comprehensive look for this Indie of the Week (as they’re all ;)! It was very interesting to see a game base on many dice types!
The Conquest starting bundle is awesome, too bad i’m not looking to add another miniature games in my collection!
Thanks for the show! It’s now time to catch up on the XLBS.
Pointy eared high elves, yeah!
more orcs
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiindyyyyyy…….. of the weeeeeeeeek! (missed it this episode)
STL Goblin LMAO!!!! sorry @dignity
Great prize, and show as usual. Have a great week.
Rather expand my WW2 Blood Red Skie collection than go to jets, but need to get in a situation where I can sit in same room with my opponent more.
As for the Lumineth… I’d add a bell to the neck of the cow elves.
I’m really liking the Lumineth Real-Lords models. Haven’t played AoS yet but thinking of getting started in the near future.
Thise Twisted minis are really pretty. Should be fun to paint, even if you don’t play. I wouldn’t say not to some. The Cow Elves are growing on me too, perhaps because the newer models have less oversized decorative horns / half moon jobbies.
Nice orcs.
The Twisted minis look really nice. I really like the 28mm germans…great looking models. Looking forward to getting some of these.
Great show as always guys. Thanks for the tabletop news!
I’ll happily take another chance to win those lumineth boys. Great models. Bought the bone dice already just for casting rolls on my other armies.
Tusklands – AKA “Welcome to Draenor!”
I love the art. Reminds me so much of the Warcraft II manual. And that thing was epic.
