I like the idea of putting two mini codices in the box, though they mat have been a little too specific with the name of each codex “Rouge Trader crew” and “Mutants of Nurgle” would have been fine.

Ironically yours is what I consider a long post @noyjatat 🙂
I’m not put off by long posts per se, if I’m interested in the topic I will tend to read them and if I’m not I just san over them. What they do do though is make me feel a little guilty for only ever seeming to write short posts myself (like this one)

I like the way this is going. I’d like to play more TY, but realistically just don’t have the time to devote to another system so the models just sit around. Adding in just a bit more than MBTs makes this a good stop gap.

I think the army boxes are pretty much all you’d need to play. I don’t recall ever seeing a HG game with more than 3 or 4 squads of 3-5 gears each. I recommend downloading the quickstart rules and the full “living” rulebook which are both available for free. You could easily proxy some space marines for Gears and try the rules out.

Nice selection just for the Uk… i will say, it would be nice to see aircraft (planes) and at least antitank teams. I know its a tanks game, but Antitank weapons as a tanks enemy… Look forward to buying these rules…
