Let’s Play: Reichbusters Projekt Vril

Join the guys from Mythic Games as we play their upcoming co-operative game Reichbusters!
Featuring beautiful 32mm scale plastic miniatures, Reichbusters will see you teaming up with your fellow players to defeat the mad Nazi scientists and their mutated abominations in a series of campaigns.
Mythic Games have a strong history of successful Kickstarter launches and Reichbusters will launch for ten days on Kickstarter from the 20th - 30th of November.

First time I have seen this one played and found it interesting and entertaining.
Not sure if the Mythic guys are looking for feedback and thoughts on this demo game.
Still not convinced about this. Looks like a cross between Fire Team Zero and Tannhauser.
Can we have an alternate version of the French woman? As I think of the French as collaborators… they fed and entertained the Germans while the English did the fighting…
They fought a tough rear-guard action at Dunkirk to ensure the most soldiers could get rescued. The french resistance were brave fighters. The english thankfully did not have their homeland invaded by the enemy, did not have to survive under occupation, so think on that before you comment.
I forgot the smiey face before and can’t edit it now.
I was basing my comment on how the French were portrayed in Allo Allo.
And had a big army, airforce, they rolled over and wanted there tummy rubbed by the Germans..!! I mean we all seen Hello, Hello 🙂
Would the noise check that Warren didn’t fully read out when Claudine was forced to go Prone have changed the game, we will never know 😀

Thinking about it now, it reminds me of playing through the mission in the film Overlord that just came out. The game dynamics tie in perfectly with plot devices of different characters. Might be a reason for other people to check out the film or get the game after watching.
First time I have ever watched a let’s play all the way through! That game is shaping up to be great fun! Well done all.

I would be all in for the minies alone. Love the style and really want to paint them. But now it’s gonna be a real tough one, deciding whether to paint or play first <3 Fantastic Let's Play guys. And fantastic game.
This LetsPlay was super fun to watch. 🙂 Guess it pushed me over to backing this game, after seeing the minis on SPIEL Essen.

Leo was having a blast with Warren his actions, while Justin and Az are trying yo hold Warren back of going of blasting everything. So fantastic.
I don’t like how KS is making it acceptable to overcharge for games. Even worse with KS exclusives where they try to coerce you into going all in because it’s the only way to get the expansions.
KS has made it acceptable to spend hundreds of pounds on a game before you even try it.
There are plenty of great games available at retail. No need to use KS at all. These types of ‘over produced’ plastic heavy games are not viable for retail. This game could easily be made using cardboard standees at half the price…but would people buy it?
In the end it is an individual choice. I have plenty of games that I don’t get to play often that adding a mega box of plastic just isn’t something that interests me.
Overall the game looks amazing. Continuing the noise mechanic after the alert is reached seems both anti-thematic and unnecessarily cumbersome. The grandest can be clutch if you are getting bogged down, but I was sad to see the first Vril Meister go down without an activation.
i usually don’t like your lets plays but you guys did a great job with this one! backed the game and cant wait to play it with friends
Got to finish watching this, got about half way through’lets play’ wasnt interested till watched it, and now have pledged, Looks like and much improved and biggers scoped ‘Gears of War’ type game, and we love that.
figures are awesome as well.
I have been waiting for ReichBusters to hit KS from when it was mentioned a few weeks back, backed it 2 and a half hours into it. I know it

Well that’s done it! Finally watched this Let’s Play and immediately backed. I said no more KS but this one looks too good. Hopefully it stays close to schedule. Can’t wait to watch this one develop.
