It is kind of cool to see classic epic scale battles go ‘mainstream’.
Sure, there’s been rules for things like ‘American Civil War’ since the dawn of time.
However with the likes of Battlefront, Warlord and Wargames Atlantic entering the fray it may make these more newbie friendly.
The grognards can still play these things using whatever nearly out-of-print and/or obscure rules they favour.
The rest of us may finally have a chance to play a historical mass battle game in an epic scale that looks cool and is available ….
A good and even keel of a show with gods awful sweaters. Fire the costumer and keep the show running. Good luck and rest well for next year.

I haven’t played Fallout Factions but I do like Wastelands, even if it is a bit token heavy.
The Italy supplement for FoW is finally coming? I’d given up hope and thought that Battlefront had forgotten all about the soft underbelly. Time to restart my FoW project in preparation!
