Happy Weekender and a Merry Christmas to everyone. Very happy Chap with the preorder of third edition Dystopian wars, got my preorder in and looking forward to the end of January. The small round tokens Gerry mentioned are SRS tokens or Small Fliers, in this case Covenant of the Enlightened Fliers as I’m told there is the option for a Enlightened ship to be built with a catapult launcher. The tokens replace the old squares in the movement tray and stack up on top of each other apparently within that bevelled base. There are a ton of ship options to build and have been very much enjoying Cogs here and on facebook building up the surprise free spru of Commenwealth ships sent out earlier this month. Hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Christmas. Wales will going straight into lockdown by the 28th so I’m hoping to get some long delayed hobby under my belt and attempt the Gerry Can naval basing on some old Spartan ships.
I want extensive in character interviews with each frostgrave players as thier wizards.
We are planning more Frostgrave content in the future so who knows 😉

Looking forward to Dystopian wars, is there any word on what is coming down the line with future releases? Good to see Frostgrave getting a run out, very much enjoying that at the moment.
If you follow the link below it should take you the new Warcradle Dystopian Wars Resources page which will give you a run down on each faction plus a series of wallpapers free to download. Each wallpaper is the front cover of a box set due to be launched late January. Hope that helps some. I’m thinking crown and celestial empire myself, enjoy.

Your welcome. The narratives over on the resource page are a great read but if I might make a suggestion, if you haven’t looked at Wild West Exodus pop over the resource page and have a read of the Hex, Order and Watcher factions. They are in the background of dystopian wars but having all the cannon I find really rounds the world out and will help understand factions such the Ottomans. The images displayed as downloads on the site show you what you will get in each battlegroup box. I think it’s a capital ship, 2 cruisers and 4 frigates. These can than act as a building block for you to add say a subsurface group or Aviation component by picking up new box sets. Don’t worry about not playing the original game you’ve got your preorder in and will setting sail into uncharted waters like the rest of us. Good to see Titan Forge getting the nod. I have a good few of their fiery demons for Frostgrave (whoo Frostgrave!), and one of those Zeppelins that I’ve still not put together. They’re dashed lovely!
They are an older range but they still check out for sure. I do like their steamy Dwarves!
I think I wanted to see-dwarfify my zeppelin for something steampunk. If I get inspired to take it on I’ll do it as the sculptor intended.

Game of Death? Pfft… Cake or Death! Now If you really want a badass film experience go in on The Protector with Tony Jaa and wait for the staircase scene. That would be pain in the rear to try and play. Then again with all the Keanu talk and then the mention of Chuck Norris I think making things hardboiled with terrain might be necessary.
I am not sure about those 3D sculpted miniature stuff… i find all of them look way to perfect.. and more often than not detail overloaded. Maybe its because i dabble in sculpting miniatures myself and thus am jealous… but i don’t like the 3D sculpted ones. Hand sculpted miniatures look better to me.
It’s the Weekend, and the morning after my company virtual Christmas bash. Let’s quickly watch this before I gave to clear up.

A big thanks to your entire team for the great content you put out this year even if the circumstances were far from ideal.
I’ve known of Titan Forge for a couple of years now, but so far I have been admiring their minis from afar. 2021 is likely the year I will take a shot at 3D printing and the only thing that terrifies me is my worse than mediocre painting skills and the amount of time I will have to put into miniature printing and painting.

Warhammer Underworlds and all the related stuff was always on my wishlist but I was afraid to start with it because I’m some kind of completionist and I fear the getting everything or even everything interesting could get a bit too expensive 😉

I think Frostgrave is a fun game but I picked up their official wizards plastic minis and they are too small for my tastes. I believe they are true 28mm and look small against my other minis which are mostly 32mm. I am going to use them as dwarfs or hobbits.

Truly Disney are ushering in a golden age of Rebellion era Star Wars Legion content!
I’m hoping for a bit more Clone Wars era content that isn’t Skywalker focused.
Mixed feelings about the launch of the new Dystopian Wars. I just sold my Prussian Starter set and rulebook. It remained unassembled because I wasn’t able to convince others to pick up the game with me. Shame. It looked (and still looks!) so….rad?
That said: I’m really looking forward to Frostgrave week. A perfect chance to dive into yet another game that no-one else in my vicinity plays xD
