Meridian Miniatures' Andrew May is back on Kickstarter with more Black Crab Miniatures. This time around, they are bringing to life the Necropolis Mercenaries dredged from the creative mind of Moritz. That means awesome grimdark Fantasy miniatures in 28mm heroic proportions.

The focus this time around is on a set of nine new Mercenaries that can be hired by dark masters in order to do terrible things. Each of these miniatures would be perfect for those diving into the myriad of Fantasy skirmish games out there on the market right now.

The different miniatures here are armed with a variety of fascinating weapons. You have swords, clubs, maces, rudimentary guns and more. You also have characters clad in an assortment of armour and also just whatever they have snapped up when they left the house in the morning. Perfect for a band of rogues and vagabonds.

As well as the Mercenaries, there is also the chance to pick up one of the coolest miniatures from Andrew May to date. Here we have The Widow.

Who wouldn't want this character as a potential foe in your games? I would love to see her wandering down the streets with her brood only to start shrieking and attacking your warband for entering her abode.

I think we need to have more pig knights jousting away on the tabletop. I can't quite tell if these are children or strange gremlin-like homunculus. Either way, they are going to be exceptionally good fun to paint.
