Empress Preview Paul Hicks’ Arnhem Heroes Polish Miniatures

Empress Miniatures has been previewing more of the miniatures by Paul Hicks for the next Arnhem Heroes Kickstarter. Last time, we saw more of the Allies you'll be able to throw into your World War II battles and this time around, we have the Polish!

These are some of the first shots of the Polish figures which have been designed to give your squads a distinctively different feel. They very much capture the look of the Polish from the period and work very well to represent the soldiers that you might have seen in A Bridge Too Far.

So far, we have Polish soldiers with rifles and submachine guns so you can get stuck into some long-range firefights and a few that are a bit more up close and personal.
I know that the last Arnhem Heroes Kickstarter did very well and I would guess that the next one is going to do very well too! What else from Arnhem would you like to see pop up as part of the next Kickstarter project?

Mr Hicks just goes from strength to strength. The Polish Paras had a way of wearing the beret that differed from the other Para Regts. I’ve not yet seen a good rendition of that in miniature form until now. He’s managed to get the “pulled back” folds on the beret that must be so hard to do down pat.
