Yay! Welcome back weekender!
I missed weekender over new years but I hope you all had a great holiday break. I’m looking forward to your upcoming infinity campaign, I can’t wait for some news on when you guys are going to start!
Woo hoo, the weekender is back, looking forward to BoW 2016.
worth getting out of bed 🙂
Looking forward to what they coming year holds.
Looking forward to Blood Bowl returning.
Happy Weekend and welcome back… So that’s what withdrawal feels like!
@warzan I believe the prohibition era was the primogenitor of nascar too, as cars were modified to outrun the fuzz when running moonshine! But I am a limey so I could be mistaken
I’d heard that mention on the Discovery Channel during one of their reality shows about hotrods.
And a quick google later :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASCAR
http://www.nascar.com/en_us/news-media/articles/2012/11/01/moonshine-mystique.html
So yeah, even NASCAR themselves confirm the origin story.
Let the New Year Begin! I already have a set, but can always use more 😀
the part about prohibition and turning the vid off made me laugh
Mostly because I created a drinking game where you take a shot every time Warren says something that makes you want to shut the weekender off
;p
hahaha
now on the news, great week for war gaming this has been.
Also? The rules for the walking dead game kinda reminded me of the rules for that Dead Meat game that Jasco Games tried to kickstart last year. Anybody else reminded of that?
Yep i had a Pledge on that Dead Meet game but did not lift up,
Right now i am pretty happy that Mantic do that kind of game so it will be safer to get our stuff cause i lost a fews hundres of $ at some compagny that did not send their stuff so right now i prefer to go with compagny that prouved they can deliver the merchandise and over that Mantic will give a good Quality product 🙂
I really cant believe i didnt notice the empty place in my heart where a zombie miniature wargame goes until now. Cant wait!
Since Walking Dead seems fond of a short life expectancy for any and most characters, will there be zombie sculpts of the Deceased (I know Zombicide is good for that)? I’d like to see vehicles as well in the game, like the RV, looks like there are police cars in the edges of the one photo. That 4Ground house would look great on the board.
What size board are we talking about for a playing area?
i do like the walking dead, but not read the comics,
so hope the crossbow and maybe a bow is silent.
One pledge level is a smart idea. I can always use more terrain too, especially if it’s a prize. 😉
On putting out Blood Bowl on general release; would they be allowed to under their agreement with Fantasy Flight games? Don’t they have the license to produce board games under GW IP? Maybe the licensing agreement has changed recently, given the return of specialist games and the two new 40K board games?
It hasn’t stopped GW releasing Space Hulk, Dreadfleet, Assassinorum, or Betrayal at Calth. Nor did it allow FFG to release a Blood Bowl game in anything other than a card game format. I doubt FFG have a blanket license to produce boardgames based on GW IP, rather specific and individual ones.
Do we think that the GW / FFG agreement will continue, seeing as FFG have Star Wars products to support and GW are pushing into that market with Specialist Games?
I think GW will keep the agreement as long as they feel the licensed products FFG release don’t compete with GW’s products, and even then they’ll likely just nix individual products. I’m not sure about FFG. They might grow to the point where they don’t need the hassle of having the IP compared to the revenue it generates for them. I don’t think it’s at that point yet.
If you look back to 1st edition blood bowl it was a board game with cardboard chits. There would not be anything stopping them from releasing their game again. The FFG game is a card game with a completely different feel.
I still play blood bowl we have a league in our area that typically gets 14-20 players per season.
Comments fore terrain 😉 great to see you guys back, happy new year!
Great videos to ease everyone back into a new year of wargaming and painting. Particularly like the debate over which GW starter sets to purchase. Keep it fellahs!
Congrats Ronnie !!! on getting a great IP
Loving playing Dungeon Saga but The Walking Dead just leaves me cold tbh (see page XXX) but good luck with it Ronnie…
On Dungeon Saga: undelivered items are expected in a kickstarter to a certain extent. The big issue that Warren didn’t deal with is the poor quality of the campaign rules in the Adventurer’s Companion, which will remain in the general release.
You mean rules as in how it plays or the spellos and see page XXX stuff?
I’ve seen comments that the second is sorted, is there some issue with the first?
I picked up the adventurers companion on pre-order and there is no sign of any typos etc, It seems to be a solid product. My gaming group will be creating some characters this week so we’ll see how it stands up then.
I can see now why my Deadzone incursion Kickstarter has been put on the back burner. I’m glad Mantic are busy but it would have been nice if they were busy with the stuff I’d invested in.
Walking dead seems to be similar to Deadzone Contagion. I wonder if it will be played on the Mars attacks mats.
Finally! Not my mornings feel complete again. A cup of coffee and weekender. Heaven.
Yeah weekender
If I was GW I’d hope my customers were Justins rather than Warrens. I want people to buy them and immediately begin growing the army. I definitely do not want people to buy one box and then move onto another box.
That’s true @redben – It hadn’t occured to me that GW would think people would collect multiple armies, thinking each time that they were buying a complete faction. Then again, I’m approaching it more from the angle of a 40k player. Or ex-40k player as it may be (although I still collect their stuff sometimes).
On the other hand, I’d rather people bought all 6 factions over the course of the year even if they didn’t buy anything else, than just bought one faction and a couple of blisters but nothing more because they were put off by the prices.
I suspect too that a certain number of people who buy a complete army that they don’t expect to expand… will end up expanding it when something else cool comes along. (Assuming the game itself is fun.)
I wouldn’t be happy with either of those scenarios if I was GW. If these boxes don’t entice people into buying an army then they’ve failed.
Nice bit of serendipity in the show. 4Ground American terrain and The Walking Dead, you say?…
@warzan – If I were to buy one of those GW starters, I’d go for the Nurgle force as I could pull double duty in Age of Sigmar and be a starter for a Nurgle themed Chaos Force – flesh it out with Death Guard or standard Chaos Marines …
The Zombie thing appears a vast resource of fun/scary/search of your pants gaming. Walking dead is great hope the game is too.
I think Ronnie might be over playing how popular Walking Dead comics are, don’t think anybody in my club has read them and we have a couple of zombie fans. For a prize, we only get a glimpse of the buildings? And from what I can see they look pretty poor to be honest 🙁
They’re the most popular comic book franchise in terms of overall sales including graphic novel reprints. Also, whilst Ronnie can’t say this given that he has the comic book license and not the TV show, he’s well aware that this is a game that will appeal to fans of the TV show as well. In term of the 18-49 male demographic that are primarily his customers, TWD is the most watched TV show, even ahead of Sunday Night Football, and it’s one of the most watched TV shows overall. Bear in mind it’s on cable and not network TV too.
*Most watched in the US, that is.
I wasn’t that excited by ‘another zombie game’ at first, but the more I hear about it I’m starting to get rather interested…dam you Mantic!
I completely understand that that Mantic will use a KS campaign for the Walking Dead game. The initial cost of design and production is horrendously high, and this project model helps overcome that. Also, limiting the offering to one package will simplify logistics to an astounding degree. Having said that, I’ve not heard of any campaigns halting the campaign prior to the established end date. Is that possible? I was under the impression that gauging campaign length was one of the more difficult aspects of starting a KS campaign. Too short and you may not fund. Too long and people lose interest and drop pledges.
Campaigns are like hosting a 24/7 party where you constantly have to keep your party goers engaged. If you only have one item to pledge on, Ronnie may be counting on more of a pledge it and forget it style campaign, which is quite different than their previous campaigns.
So, as this is their second licenced game (unless I am forgetting one), is this something that Mantic is trying to continue to branch into? Will they have the project managers to be able to keep focus on all of the separate game systems they have? In the Mantic blog, there have been some announcements with adding additional needed staff to wrangle some of the departments up. I hope they are keeping an eye on sustainable growth, with a very clear emphasis on sustainable.
I saw several communication issues with the Deadzone Infestation project while the backer kit was open, and there have been some not-inconsequential changes to game design and model composition, and Mantic has not been great at communicating these in the KS comments and updates. I’ve seen similar issues in the Warpath project as well. These are the purview of the project managers, and I am hoping the recent employee additions will help smooth out this problems as they occur.
I don’t know if you can call a halt to it early and it still be successful, but I think you can limit the number of pledges.
It wasn’t clear to me exactly what Ronnie meant by this – I wasn’t aware you could say ‘no more’ to funding at any point, although I do now see why you might want to.
He could however just not offer any stretch goals, or just a limited number. So it really would be like a pre-order system, with the initial target being say $50k, stretch goal 1 being $100k, stretch goal 2 being $150k and then no more stretch goals even if funding reaches $1m. That way, they can just increase the production run as much as is necessary, without getting into difficulties with unanticipated cost, complications, etc.
i hope they throw in the walking dead exclusive comic in the box. that would be cool
Happy 2016, BOW!
Really enjoyable episode, guys- I’m hoping we might see some more in-depth Wrath of Kings coverage this year…
My group has been playing Black Plague over the festive period, and been loving every minute of it- it was also the first Kickstarter I’ve backed where I got stuff earlier than I was expecting, so kudos to CMoN for that!
Also like the sound of those zombie mechanics for Walking Dead- I’m suffering a little from ‘Zombie Burnout’ but my interest is definitely piqued…
Welcome home Guys…..Really missed you over the Xmas period…but your back and I cannot wait to press play ans enjoy you all on my screen. Lovely to see you are talking about the walking dead as well. I better sort my family`s shopping out so I can enjoy the show……
Great episode. Welcome back from the holidays.
Ooo yes, those buildings would be perfect for my Strange Aeons games. Could also be useful for Malifaux (tho not the gas station ofc).
My biggest problem with the space marine box is its so been there done that… Tac marines and a dreadnought… Any starting player who picks up that box will be so bored with his/her force because of the lack of options and any veteran player will already have those models
Walking Dead is a great property for a wargame.
Nice 1st weekender for the year. I believe that Mantic will do justice to the walking dead, otherwise it’ll be yet another version of a zombie game with nice minis but…. not really my cuppa tea.
I am interested in the terrain for the walking dead, though I think I’ll just be using the Battle systems KS goodies when they arrive.
Although I must admit that I’m starting to get a little KS’d out. There are still KS’s that I helped fund 2+years ago (cough AVP cough) that I still have not seen hide nor hair of nor have I had any decent communication regarding the issues.
The Walking Dead Game certainly does sound interesting.
The GW boxes are pretty good, all offer a discount over the individual boxes, and defo cheaper if theyre from a 3rd party
glad you guys got your zombicide black plague. I am still waiting for my parcel. CMON are saying that the missing parcel is my problem and I have to sort it out. If you have a problem with CMON they are shit with customers, so all be warned
happy new year!
I really hope the walking dead game will give us the option to build our own group. Its always fun to play characters especially from an IP like the walking dead, but for me it would be more fun if I could create my own group. I like the idea of raiding an area for loot while dodging zombies and trying to out smart the enemy.
I knew there was good reason to get into the Battle Systems Urban Terrain kickstarter, and this announcement of The Walking Dead by Mantic, proves it. I’ve played Zombicide: Black Plague with my brother during the holidays, and it’s one of the few interests we actually share. So I hope to lure him in to some more wargaming with The Walking Dead. No zombie fatigue for me 😀
so happy that The Walking Dead game has become a reality, I do like me a zombie game.
Now this is the IP I’ve been waiting for some one to snap up, bring on Feb!
I’m loving the idea of Mantic finishing a Kickstarter early if they get their funding completed. I agree that it probably makes a ton of sense that they don’t want the kickstarter to steal all of their customers.
With that Space Marine box I think a lot of the reasoning behind it is the inclusion of the previously limited edition Terminator Marine Captain – call me cynical but I think of all the sets they have released this one is the money grab, I am sure that many many people will buy this set just for that one mini, and then eBay the balance.
Ronnie, I’m sure you’re downplaying the level of Mantic incompetence with the fulfilment of the DS KS. I’ll ignore the farce that is the Adventurer’s Companion (evidence of Mantic failing to a) provide the repeatedly promised “tomb”, and b) zero involvement of backers in the “creative process”). Low hundred numbers of mispacks…really? Why is the progress to address these so slow? How many backers ordered dungeon critters…and then how many of these actually received them?
TWD sounds interesting, but Mantic/Ronnie are always good at talking the talk ahead of a KS. The quality of the end product (e.g. proof reading and robust rules which are supported) and fulfilment carries too much uncertainty for me. I won’t give Mantic the benefit of the doubt time and time again.
It’s Kevin Costner with the hammer in The Untouchables @warzan 🙂
Opps!
Tom hanks was in the other gangster movie (good one too!)
Mantic should have the Beasts of war team as heroes (and Zombies obviously) that are out in search for materials for terrain.
Lloyd has gone a bit mad and thinks he’s actually the dictator of his town Lloydoslavia with the dictator uniform made from a doorman’s uniform with PJ bottoms and on a roll of a 6 distracts the Zombies with the Jammy Dance.
John sits in a shopping trolley in his Tanker Gear truly believing the trolly’s a Sherman and tries to run down the Zed’s screaming “Tank Charge”!!!!
Ben has embraced his obsession for his love of dwarfs by walking on his knees unless no ones looking then stands up to run then quickly back on his knee’s
Warren will inspire his fellow team by Screaming ” Boot camp” and “Get to the ice cream van”!!
Justin scares nearby zombies as he weasrs nothing but his steam punk top hat, Hasselhoff shirt and for some reason pink fluffy bunny slippers.
There should also have Ronnie with a special ability where he distracts the zombies by talking about future products, but if he rolls a 1 he goes “What was the question again”? And gets bitten.
For walking dead it would be good to have some nice street furniture and terrain such as a prison for example
Suprised not to see mention of the Battle Systems Urban Apocalypse KS terrain which will be retailing by the time the WD game arrives – a marriage made in hell?
Great show again! Good to see Warren giving Justin some gip!
I felt I laid out @warzan ‘s argument in the forums when it came to the space marine box, I think the dreadnought is the worst possible choice you could have, look at the space marine big big box (Space Marine Battle Demi Company box) there it is again.
I think you guys did a great job at focusing on the regular joe and not just viciously beating on GW which seems to be the done thing, but I think the thing you guys ignored was the GW super fans, the ‘hard cores’ so imagine if it did have the razorback like both I and @warzan suggested. All of the people who were playing all bike armies and so on would possibly look buying multiple of these boxes if it was tactical squad with transport, they get that sell of there six captain models on eBay (yes these nutters exist) and just whistle their merry tune.
I think that GW missed out with that on a few of them the Tyranids also with their force, I think it would have been much better if it was a tervigon and two squads of termagants 1 HQ 2 Troops again, just my thoughts anyway.
Great show guys.
It could be that they don’t want to encourage their existing customers to buy multiple boxes. I would guess the main function of these boxes is to hook new customers in with a low price. GW trade off the lost profit by gaining a new customer. If they sell lots to current customers then it could be counterproductive.
That could be true, however that would go against everything they have been doing in the past few years.
These boxes do go against what GW have been doing for the last few years. It was a fundamental tenet of the previous regime that they didn’t discount because their customers would always pay the price.
Awesome episode, thanks guys!
It sounds like Mantic is going to do a great job with the Walking Dead. If it goes well it looks like great fun and I think I may have to def get in on the Kickstarter.
The 40k boxes are awesome and btw they all have dataslates that allow you to play the boxes together or add them into another army. The Space marine is the least but that was a limited edition captain. The AOS daemon ones can be used in 40k so. For most of those they all contain models you will need when building those forces. 40k and aos are 2 dif types of games and its a start collecting and unlike the old battleforce boxes these give you core stuff not just crap that isn’t selling.
@warzan they may not be plastic but Dark Ops have got a laser cut mdf pack to replace the DS board sections, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJLsq50ihvI
that’s the vid that came out yesterday to show them off.
Wasn’t that interested in TWD initially, I’ve read the comics but never watched the show, but the idea of groups of survivors trying to beat each other while avoiding ending up as zombie chow intrigues me, I may end up on it like a car bonnet come Feb.
Hmm, should be an interesting start to the year.
The models in that zombicide box are so good. But I cant wait for the bloodbowl release.
Thanks guys truly feel epic .Walking dead ip for ronnie and mantic is huge and the zombicide plastic dashboard looks like it can really make the game more manageable.
The Blood Bowl is going to be plastic. All plastic. One box game with human and orc team, the other teams released later.
I think that the Walking Dead IP is going to be fantastic, looking forward to playing Shane, or perhaps Merl or Daryl, actually Carol would be a bad ass as well to play.
You’ll have to homebrew your own Daryl and Merle as they aren’t in the comic. I suspect ‘where’s Daryl?’ might be a question Mantic get asked a lot lol.
Hello Weekender!
So, I am really pleased to hear about the Walking Dead coming to our small miniatures world. I am a fan of the TV series but did not have the occasion to read the comic books. I need to catch up on them. When it comes to the game itself I would like to see these madmen who were engraving W on the heads of the walkers. Now, that was creepy.
I am also quite happy with the new AoS releases. I am going for the slaves to chaos box.
A new miniature game of zombies,I have to check the ” solo ” mode…
seems a very good idea
Glad you’re back. I love Zombie games!!!
TWD is an interesting idea. I just hope they do a better QC job on it than the Dungeon Saga KS.
The Adventures Companion was disappointing to say the least and some of the resin pieces they sent out looked as if they had been made in play-do by a 4 year old.
Even the resin Troll from the KoW 2 nature starter army has vents on every knuckle on both arms its a lot of work to re-sculpt what is a focal point on a main mini.
Also you need to read up on 40k army building.
You dont need 1 hq and 2 troops to make a battleforged army any more. As long as it is made up of legal formations, you can build alot of different armies. And each starter box comes with its own detachment, ready to put on the table,
Nice, I might have to dig in to The walking dead KS, I hope some of the tv charecters join the game I would love Daryl in there
Those Gw box sets are great value, but they should have been doing them ages ago. Tau for me as I like the stormtrooper paint job. Blackplague is awesome.
Great to have you back Epic show longer the better got alot of hobby done.
Thanks
I’m of the opinion that while these new starter sets are great, particularly for 40k they should have kept/standardised the old battleforce boxes to act as what Justin says, a stage 2. Set em at £75 perhaps, and same as the old ones NO HQ’s – people pick up the start collecting boxes, if they get a feel they can start adding to it organically, or, through the purchase of a batteforce and maybe a couple of unique or quirky items to really put your own stamp on it you’ve got a hell of a force completed in a handful of purchases. Expensive on the face of it yes, but the savings you’d make would justify it, and it would also help GW shift more product…
Walking Dead looks great can’t wait to see the hero minis. I have lots of Mantic terrain but nothing I can use for WD, this would be great.
TWD will really test my resolution to not get into yet another gaming system – damn you Mantic! 🙂
Happy new year to every member of the Beast of War community.
It’s good to see Warren, Justin and John back on the screen.
Being a huge TWD fan and also a Mantic fan, I’m pretty exited about the new game. The models look outstandingly stunning. M. Renton take my money.
As a fan of the undead in wargames, The Walking Dead really appeals as a license. I can see myself really getting into it. Also, while the core Zombicide aesthetic does not do much for me, I think that Zombicide: Black Plague looks stunning and my wife and I want to play it. Any idea as to when it will be available on general release?
Looking forward to the walking dead stuff Ronnie
Very excited about a TWD game. For various reasons not quite so much about it being a KS tho. But I will bite the bullet here one more time and back it from day one.
I agree on the AoS boxes, they seem exellent. Thinking of getting a Chaos Warriors box to bolster my warband.
Great to have you guys back On Air!
Happy New Year BoW
walking dead oh please but are you going to be able to create your own hero’s
Well Done to Mantic, love the Walking Dead and I am really looking forward to playing the Skirmish game with my friends and putting my modern day buildings to use 🙂
Oh cool 🙂
Really looking forward to the new Bloodbowl and the gob’Z’heroes kickstarter!
Happy New Year BoW!
Curse you Ronnie Renton – my only New Year resolution out the window – “No more Kickstarters” How can I resist The Walking Dead!
I am looking for a zombies game for a while. I mean, a tabletoo game with good rules and great miniatures. Maybe Mantic will make my day.
I hope Ronnie brings some samples to Adepticon: the kickstarter should be done by then and Mantic should have some figures and maybe even some demo game play to show off by then. I like his comment about having retail exclusive figures to help promote LGS business and no add-ons, which always yank the investments into the stratosphere and make it harder for a company to produce everything simultaneously to ship to the backers.
I hope that too 🙂
I’m not sure how I feel about Mantic doing the Walking Dead. They always seem very enthusiastic, and talk a great game but for every avid fan there seem to be plenty of folks that are not happy with their dealings with mantic.
My work commute is now complete welcome back weekender
Ronnie is the man
always can use more zombie minis
If Ronnie is serious about cardboard terrain for Walking Dead, he should seriously have a chat and partner with battlesystems for their recent art Deco shanty town kickstarter product. Would go hand in hand and look stunning.
Afternoon, good to have the weekender back after the christmas break:-)
Will be interested to see where they go with Bloodbowl as it is the game from GW that always gave me the longevity and replability, but with so many other games to play these days I am not sure I will be going back to bloodbowl soon.
Not playing either, I’d have to choose the AoS starter boxes over the 40K (excepts the necrons), but where are the forces of Light? The Sigmarines are in the 2-player box, but where are the dwarves, elves, and the like? Or the Neutrals (if they still exist): the ogres, men and mercs? So, GW is essentially saying: go evil or go home?
Ohhh Nice Walking Dead i will for sure be in that Kikstarter can wait to get that game a Home (Full of minis) and i think this game will perfectly fit My Battle System Urban Apocalypse Terrain that i will get in a few Months Wow simply Wow ,
and for the GW stuff i Also Love the Space Marines but before buying more of their stuff i Hope they will get some rules that might looks like the new AOS one simply cause i Love smaller size Battles more Skirmish like the Deadzone one , and Justin you tempted me on the Eden Games i have looked at their web site and always modifying the teams that i want still did not push the buy button but just about and now Ronnie From Mantic say’s that he is going to get that Walking game Hummm probably would love Both of them but am I going to have the time ?? (Well i might find some more time )
have a great Year Guy’s wish you the best
I wanna get that lizardmen box just for the value for money, would love to get the chaos warriors box too but I’m not a fan of AoS.
I’m surprised there’s no Ork box for 40k but from that list I’d pick either Mechanicus or Nids, never played Nids before but I’ve always liked the models.
Welcome Back and loving what Mantic is up to! Just got my campaign setting for KOW and loving what the year ahead is bringing!
Hmm… another Mantic Kickstarter… but it’s the Walking Dead… so I might have to check it out…
@warzan in regards to plastic dungeon tiles for Dungeon Saga you might want to check out DarkOps. They do officially licensed mdf tile boards for Dungeon Saga. They look really nice especially after they are painted up. There is a YouTube video on the product page that is helpful. Their site is http://www.darkops.co.uk if you’re interested.
Also excited about The Walking Dead game. Can’t wait!
Great chat with Ronny.
Interesting as always.
Walking dead sounds good. I’m looking forward to finding out more and seeing more pics of the heroes/survivor models.
I Want it, I need it. PLEASE!!!
The zombie stuff isnt my thing to be honest, but its nice to see mantic get a big license to run with, its good for the hobby overall I think.
I actually like the gw collectors boxes, the seraphon one catches my eye especially, but although it needs adding to to make a force, I think the tyranid one is my favourite. The hive tyrant is a fantastic model.
Wish I hadn’t missed the Zombicide: Black Plague KS; so far Zombicide hasn’t appealed, but the Black Plague setting somehow hits the note for me.
As for Mantic’s WD – I’ve got to have something to play on the Battle Systems Urban Apocalype Terrain when that roles in… although I reckon some Mantic Urban scenery would fit in with it rather nicely…
the walking dead will be awesome for the Battle Systems terrain. I must get another city block add on.
I really believe The Walking Dead will make a good wargame. Like the concept. I think i want to paint the miniatures as they are int the comics black and white ^^
Loving the idea of the Walking Dead game and I am hoping that some of the TV characters make it to the game too, thinking Daryl here, coolist character in the TV series by far
the weekender is back, I’m alive again.. happy new year guys.
A walking dead game might be just the thing to get the Mrs into miniatures games
I’m interested in the walking dead miniature game, if for no other reason that as an owner of 5 Zombicide boxes, I have over 300 zombies ready to go when it releases. Also interested in picking up the main TWD character minis and bashing them into my Zombicide games.
@warzan you will have lots of fun with black plague its a great game and worth in at least one game being a git, killing lots, making lots of noise then leaving the team too it. watching from afar the carnage. if your impressed with the core box wait until you see the expansion Wulfsburg (kickstartert delivery expected soon) werewolves and abomination werewolves as well as zombies.
i will email you a few pictures
Welcome back. Looking good on that Zombie game!
I’m pretty excited about TWD but I’d hope they provide rules for making your own heroes/bands. Using special characters all the time can get to be a bit dull imho.
Looking forward to the Kickstarter!
love the idea of scatter terrain, make it happen!
Will be having a long hard look at the walking dead ip/Kickstarter…….can never have too many zombies. Look out @uptrebor it means my undead are multiplying
Love Warrens signature pic
Awesome weekender, can’t wait for the backstage! Great to see Ronnie again, always a pleasure. I`m predicting `The Walking Dead: All Out War` will be huge. The potential for expansion of factions, figures and scenery is enormous. I’ve previously built Armies on Parade boards as well as several highly detailed scenery Malifaux tables but the opertunity to create a zombie themed board for The Walking Dead would be simply awesome!
It would be useful to know what size of playing area Walking Dead will be played on together stats and rules that affect scenery and terrain. Happy times
I can’t wait for Walking Dead! I’d love to see terrain sets for the Prison, the Farm. Thankfully though, those are pretty easy to make our own, and lots of other systems have plenty of existing things to use.
Happy New Year to all at BoW, glad to have you back. I’m looking forward to the WD game as there are very few proper zombie wargames. There are plenty of board games and zombies do appear as either armies or as special scenarios but this will be the first time that a company has done both a rule set and figures for a zombie game which is awesome. I’m guessing that as Mantic have said that this is going retail by the end of the year, they must have pretty much everything ready such as sculpts and rules etc, as this really only gives them 10 months from the end of the ks till it hits the shelf which is very little time, Im just hoping that this dosnt lead to the amount of mistakes etc that have happened in the last few ks even though I love Dungeon Saga. But I am looking forward to getting this on the table. Well done Ronnie, just don’t let us down!
The terrain is cool, but I comment specifically for Ronnie’s smelly hat. 😉
Love that man and his enthusiasm: “What was the question again?”
My thoughts on the GW boxed sets was similar to the guys .. I think AOS looked inviting, no so much with the 40K, however, if they had been boxed with some quick start rules and force lists that enabled them to be played against each other as they stand it may have been more of a kick into the game kind of starter set.
Another good episode. I was not sure if it was my speakers or something else but is seems something is up with Ben’s mic. It often sounded as though coming through a blown speaker. Everyone else sounded good.
I like the fact that Mantic has released the digital version of their rules. I picked up several over the holidays to include Kings of War, Uncharted Empires, Destiny of Kings, and several of the Deadzone books. I can read them on my *ANDROID* OR my PC. Thank you, thank you.
Yeah, this is my first weekender. Lots od good news. Happy New Year Everybody.
I cant wait for the walking dead kickstarter! I loved the science lesson today too! haha.
The 40k box sets did look underwhelming… and although I don’t play age of sigmar there was atleast stuff in that which made me think “i could buy that for kit bashing”
weirdly though the best starter set for me was the wrath of kings, interesting models in that game!
a great start to the year guys BOW the MOVIE.
nice one guys.
Yeaah, the Walking Dead by Mantic.
Added to my wishlist.
This combined with my Battle Systems Urban Apocalypse Terrain, it will be a great zombie bashing year.
Great looking terrain set!
I’m hoping the walking dead game is a warband campaign game sort if like how frostgrave operates. That would be a dream come true for me.
Go Mantic Games – yet more zombies!! Prosperous New Year Everyone
great show happy days, For now Walking dead is the best news of 2016 so far I know is just beggining but it will be hard to beat it.
I’m quite interested to see how Mantic will do the Walking Dead game, sounds really fun, from what Ronny said!
Oh, and I hope GW does similar boxes for the other armies too. Would love to see a DE Coven themed box :D
As long as the walking dead starter box stays at $50 I will definitely own one. Bring it on.
Nice to see the weekender back!
Those AoS army packs looks good! And all the zombie games. I have to get Zombicide Black Plague and I am afraid I’ll be backing the new Mantic Kickstarter.
Welcome back guys, hoe you had a great New Years.
Super excited to see this Walking Dead minis game. It sounds very close to my ‘wish list’ of the game I posted in the forums. The only thing I didn’t see mentioned was experience and advancements of the minis. Look forward to see if Mantic add that into the game.
Great show guys! Should I give you my address now for the terrain??????
I would like to see customizable survivors so we aren’t just stuck with rick and his crew.
Great Show as always!
I thought someone had reversed the polarity on the spacemarine box …
Looking forward to seeing Negan on the table!
it nice to see you all back after christmas and new year break hope you all had a great christmas and good start to the new year, your scary masks at the begin of the show was weird and awesome not sure which but cool
This game looks great fun, and the minis look gorgeous
Really interested the see how The Walking Dead game turns out.
Can we ever get enough terrain or Zombies ? or weekender for that matter
Welcome back boys.
Even though I am jot sure re the rules of AOS I do prefer thir boxed sets. My three factions would be
Slaves to Darkness
Malignants
Nurgle
walking dead skirmish game sounds awesome, cant wait to see the hero sculps
really loving the sound of the walking dead game
The walking dead game sounds like it’ll be a blast. Mantic does a great job with their games. GW does some beautiful models, but I’m not buying in again until they decide to be a game company again, instead of just a hobby company that takes advantage of their customers.
It’s so awesome that Mantic got the TWD license. I hope to see great things come from it. I know Ronnie and crew will do it justice.
welcom back and have a great new year
First off, love the 21st century terrain.. I’ve blended it with some of the Deadzone and Deadzone Ruins and use it in my Infinity Games and it’s great stuff…
2ndly, you guys “almost” make me want to try out Age of Sigmar… almost… I do like the idea of the small faction boxes… although I’m going to have to say that for 40K, the Space Marine box is very vanilla.. but it’s also a solid starter force… I agree it’s not very shiny and exciting, but things like the Tyranid Force are just way unbalanced and the “formerly known as” Imperial Guard box is horribly put together… but at least the AoS stuff is interesting…
Also, those new Fire Dwarves are pretty sweet.. I wonder if I could find a way to use them as a Warband in Frostgrave?
Finally, as for Walking Dead… I like the idea of Mantic and Ronnie doing a “simple” kickstarter… I did make a new years resolution to not back any new KS.. so I’d probably have to pass.. but I know Ninja Division/Soda Pop Minis has done this “simple kickstarter” system with a few of their games and it’s worked well..
I also liked the idea of the game with the 3rd faction being the zombies… very cool…
and I can only imagine that this game and the models would lend itself to some great RPG style mini gaming as well… and then you combine more zombies with Mantics already great Fantasy and Sci-Fi Zombies and there just aren’t enough brains in the universe left to devour….
This is the 2nd most I’d spend on a kickstarter. Just before a Fallout Miniatures game.
Building my KoW Abyssals and DZ zombies. I am very happy with the price/quality balance on these.
Good show guys. The walking dead game sounds interesting. I’ll certainly give the kickstarter a close look when it starts.
So I bought the Malignants and Skitarii “start collecting boxes” today. I’m thinking of getting the the Necron and the Slaves to Darkness boxes. I agree that the AOS boxes seem like you are actually getting something to play with and the 40K ones are very much the beginning.
Great show guys! Walking Dead: color me interested. After wayyyy too many Kickstarters for me in 2015, i’m hoping to cut back in 2016 but, i will check this one out, it sounds fun and the terrain elements could be nice adds, we’ll see.
For those new GW boxes, i will go with the Tau, it will add nicely to my existing army. I agree with @warzan, the space marines box is bland… it needed a rhino or razorback a drop pod or a land speeder tornado.
I’ll see you tomorow after work guys!
Liking the bricks!
Well… 2016 is going to be expensive!!!! Yay!!!!!
TWD looks cool to me. I hope they create some cool terrain bits like they did with Mars Attacks. Similar, but different. I love that stuff.
I just want Ronnie’s hat. I’ve been near him. His hair is phenomenal. The terrain is just a bonus. Using the Deadzone zombie rules and upgraded them to tabletop should be amazing!
Blood Bowl never went away. It has always been played and miniatures produced. I hope GW doesn’t change it. Because fans have kept it alive and a community of manufacturing had grow with its continuation.
Always enjoy seeing Ronnie on the show.
i really look forward to a cool post apo skirmish games.
dont really care about the zombie stuff, but the post apo settings is really cool.
and will fit nicely with the battle systems shanty town stuff !
Really excited for walking dead
BRAINLESS . Justin nooo space marines mate, specially that box so drool. Shame no elder, like the look of the Tau as well. Happy new year everyone.
Really looking forward to this.
Value for money.
LoL wut?
I’ll stick with mantic KOW, good luck though GW, good luck lads.
Walking dead sounds good. love what mantic have been doing lately
Until the interview with Ronnie I had absolutely no interesst in a walking dead game now that changed…. 🙂
Really looking forward to the walking dead game. Sounds super interesting
I have to admit, I was lukewarm (at best) on AoS and 40k these days, but these starter sets do actually tempt me. Which is odd, given that there’s no new minis in there…
As for the Walking Dead, I’m VERY excited by this – might finally give me a reason to buy all those fantastic Modern Age Adventurer minis that Hasslefree have been tempting me with for years!
Great video. I hope that walking dead will has less amount of mistakes than Dungeon Saga
I have a ton of Zombicide Including Seasons 1-3, Toxic City Mall and Angry Neighbours so if you fancy a weekend of flesh eating madness @warzan I could be persuaded to come across 😉
I would like to see lots and lots of options! Oh yes… plz add some guts to attach to the torso so we can have half shambling zombies crawling. I’ve sculpted those myself for the deadzone ones, and i think a couple of those break the uniformitu giving more a sense of a horde!^^
Blood bowl is an old love. I also like 40K boxes.
I´d choose Marines and Tau for starting a new army. I´m doing Imerial guard from a long time.
So looking forward to the Walking Dead game and seeing how that develops, with Game of Thrones probably my favourite TV programme. Never really read the comics but tempted to take a look.
I think all the 40k starter sets look good, they form an allied detachment so are good for extending an existing force.
I think the space marine one is also good as is, adding a flyer would probably suck the fun out of starter box games as the other boxes lack any air.
If I had to pick starter boxes then I would pick
40k: Astra militarum ( all the models would add well to and existing force, and work with multiple purchases of kit)
AOS: Deamons of Nurgle (love nurgle and box looks to have really good value saving
Also looking forward to seeing walking dead game , I go hooked on the tv series and now feel I need to locate the comic.
Above all I need to get painting as this years goal is to paint at least 2 additional forces/sets for each one I buy.
Great interview with Ron – and I’m looking forward to what they do with Walking Dead.
Player vs player vs zombies sounds a great idea – and shooting to sick a pack of zombies on you opponent sounds hilarious. Can’t wait!
regarding dungeon saga plastic tiles : go and have a look at maki games / manorhouse underground dungeon project. they look ace and they will be relaunching a ks somewhere down the line !!!!
Really enjoy Mantic’s games. This Walking Dead sounds pretty interesting. Thanks again guys for a great show.
Backed my first kickstarter last year with Conan by Monolith and was just wondering where 2016 kickstarter monies would be going, looks like Mantics Walking Dead.
Very excited for the walking game. I hope it captures the feel of the comics where the zombies are a real threat. I love Zombicide, without a doubt it’s my gaming groups most played game…BUT the zombies are not a threat. They are just there to be mown down with the chainsaw mwahahahahaha
I have one or two zombies (or maybe 100) coming from my deadzone KS, so getting more from TWD may just send me over the edge. would like to see more battlefield terrain like wrecked vehicles, so this would be good for that.
On the subject of the GW boxsets, the lizard man (none of this seraphon nonsense) box may just be the item I pick up, even after swearing never to buy another GW product again. Thing is , I’d be sticking them to square bases and using in KOW, so does that count mmmm.
Very interested to see the game that Mantic out out in the end for TWD.
I love Dreadball, Deadzone and Dungeon Saga and expect TWD will be of similar or superior quality.
Walking Dead could be Epic!!!!
@warzan Is right about the space marine box; even though I love the space marines, that box is so bloody boring compared to the other sets! The AoS stuff looks much more interesting, more varied and exciting to play. I’d choose the Tau or Necron boxes out of the 40K stuff, but pretty much any of the AoS box sets. Which disappoints me as a fan of the marines. They could have at least chucked in the chapter upgrade sprues. It is a great saving, but they could’ve made it more exciting.
The spacemarines barely make sense if you’ve only bought the new rulebooks and are looking to start an army.
It’s even worse if you’ve just bought the ‘Dark Vengeance’ boxed set, because you only get the dreadnought and more spacemarines as extras. So unless that’s cheaper than buying a box of them it’s not that great.
A really good zombie skirmish game would be great! Let’s hope Mantic can deliver on this – Dungeon Saga is a great game.
Zombicide looks interesting, have not watched the walking dead yet but the game sounds promising, and from what i have played of dungeon saga / kings of war i like the way mantic games play so really looking forward to seeing how this turns out
Good show, I’m hoping to hear more from Mantic about the Walking Dead game and what comes with it.
If I play the GW Starter Box Picking Game my choices would be as follows.
AoS:
1. Undead – despite the low model count that chariot is an awesome hobby project
2. Lizardmen – because big dinosaurs
3. Nurgle – because they’re very stylish in their grossness. And the big bugs actually kindled my interest in Nurgle somewhat.
40K:
Skitarii x3 – That would give a nice, varied force to play bigger games with. 20x Vanguard, 10x Scouts. I would have one Dunecrawler as the AA type. Not sure what to do with the Domini, as if I understood AdMech week correctly it’s not part of the Skitarii force.
Late addition would then be a unit of Ruststalkers and some Dragoons and I’d call the force done.
Other than that Tau would be a nice option, but I already have enough Fire Warriors and 2 Ethereals.
The Necron box in multiples might be nice if Necrons were my thing, which they are not.
the walking dead game sound great cant wait for it to come out love all mantics stuff
I wasnt gonna do a ks anymore, but now i need to get some moeny somewhere TWD has to be mine
There were a glut of zombie board games and I hope mantic can do something to raise above Zombicide (which I love).
Didn’t think I needed another game system after 30k, dust ,infinity , and a bit of bolt action but .
But the walking dead sounds so good.
Great video, really excited for the walking dead!
I like the idea of the walking death but I think there should also be rules for a co-op game mode. My girlfriend loves the serie but only likes co-op games
Very nice to see that TWD game by Mantic will be it’s own – seeing as there are so many different zombie games out there.
I enjoyed the TV series, but I love the comics. Seeing that graphic get done in miniatures will be so cool! Looking forward to painting up Tyreese (and putting him on the houses I’m gonna win!).
Good weekender – what a long one!
I really like the direction they are going with the walking dead game. I’ve got a copy of zombicide so I don’t need a different flavor of that. This sounds like it will be really fun. The price point is nice as well.
On those new GW starter sets. Those are very sexy. I’ve been eyeballing the skitarii anyway, this might push me over the edge to get them.
Welcome back and Happy new Year!
Lots of interesting stuff covered so:
Mantic:
– They should definitely do some plastic dungeon tiles. With some variety and conversion options you could really customise your dungeon, which would be awesome on stilts.
– The Walking Dead: I haven’t watched or read it, but the game sounds interesting (or maybe Ronnie’s enthusiasm is just infectious). I hope they’ll include rules which enable you to make your own gangs and personalities. I hope you’re not just stuck using existing characters, cool though they may be.
Zombicide:
– I missed all the Kickstarters so never got into it, but it looks tempting. Do I take it this new fantasy/medieval one is a new game rather than an expansion?
– Are the cool dashboards useable in regular zombicide?
Secrets of the Third Reich:
– I don’t know much about it, but the guy with the umbrella looks awesome. It’s amazing how a single miniature can spark an interest in a whole game / setting.
Sports games:
– I used to love Blood Bowl and am excited about the re-release. I think the game would still be fun now but I’ve never played any of the other games like guild ball or dread ball, so I don’t know how well the rules would stand up to modern games without an update. I never minded long games of Blood Bowl, but I suspect modern gamers would prefer something that played faster.
– Note that BB uses teams of 11 wheras to my knowledge the more recent games feature smaller sides. That alone must make the game faster.
40K Boxes
– I think Justin has some good ideas. A staged approach to collecting would work very well I think. It would enable you to build up a larger army over time without feeling like you were being ripped off, and so justify the occasional splashing out on something more expensive.
– I do think the marine box is a little dull, although that’s possibly a bit unfair. The terminator captain is quite cool, and the veteran dreadnought is a very nice model too. And being pretty expensive I haven’t seen many of them around. Even the tactical squad is the new version, and any marine player is going to need at least one of them. and all the other starter sets have a basic troop choice. I actually wouldn’t want a drop pod or flyer or razorback. It does feel a bit ‘unspecial’ but I think it’s actually a good and useful box.
I like the new starter armies from GW, However, I would doubt that the Imperial Guard starter set would be equal in game terms to any of the others without considerable reinforcement,
Hmmm, brick terrain, wonder how flexible its usage would be, are the buildings compatible one to the other, hope so, if i win, they will be tested asap!
@wilddiebo1 – the brick terrain works like other mantic terrain: it comes in 3″ x 3″ tiles that you fit together as you like. The buildings you see in the picture are not specific buildings, they are just examples of what you can make from the tiles.
When I saw Mantic wer doing The Walking Dead, I thought no thanks I have Zombiside. But when Ronnie was explaining the gameplay I thought YES YES YES I want it. It sound great or does he make it sound great? Well I’m definitely going to back it if I’m not to late and they cut it off already because they met all their stretch goals. So keep us posted when the kickstarter is starting.
Christmas 2016 sorted then, looking forward to a walking dead game. This could be great, with endless scope for add-ons, and welcome back BOW happy new year.
Yeah not all that into the walking dead, but it sounds like it will be a great game. The 40k sets need a grey knights set. That would be something. Or a terminator based space marine set.
So glad you guys are back! How do I get through a weekend without a Jammie Danice?!?!
I could see a lot of uses for this terrain
I’m waiting for Blood Bowl 🙂
I also enjoyed putting together my wolves for Wrath of Kings they are excellent models and the rules play well.
You guys have got to give me a break on this one. I’m just a poor gamer who needs more terrain, and I’m already going to have to go all in the Walking Dead.
Totally pumped for the Walking Dead! Bring on the Kickstarter!
Great chat with Ronnie, Mantic seems like it is really hitting it’s stride. Looking forward to pledging in February.
Man I can’t wait for the walking dead to drop.
Walkers everywhere ! This is exciting 😀
I hope they keep it simple just as their other systems.
So excited about The Walking Dead!
Blood Bowl and a Walkind Dead game, thats just awesome!
Finally. Weekender again. Happy new year everybody!
Good to hear news regarding Secrets of the Third Reich. A fab game with some interesting models.
Happy and good 2016 to everybody. Maybe 2016 will be the year of the zombies. I am not a fan of boardgames, but Zombicide Black Plaque looks fantastic. So maybe I will try the game for one day.
And a game of Walking Dead by Mantic Games sounds fun too. Two groups fighting each other, with the problem of walkers in between of them. I really want to know how the game will become.
A thing about your hubs. You got all kinds of hubs, but no Malifaux hub. The game is rising in popularity. And the game is fantastic. I think it deserves more attention.
The kickstarters are fun as always. As my nickname, I love goblins and gremlins. But I think this game needs more than only goblins. How about some funny halflings or drunken dwarfs.
The Starters of 40K looks very boring. You only get about 10 to 20% of what you need. But the starters of Age Of Sigmar are the bomb. I almost want to start gaming with Warhammer after 15 years. I love skirmish games and these boxes got all you want.
The mechanics sound great for Walking Dead, looking forward to seeing the Kickstarter levels.
Can’t wait to get walking dead, sounds like some cool game machanics
The walking dead game format of two forces vying for resource whilst avoiding the attention of the ‘mobile terrain’ does sound really interesting and makes me wonder about tactics. Would you use one of your party as bait to draw the zombies away while the rest grab loot, or better yet throw flashbangs at the opposing party!
Bit more terrain for mars attacks would be nice for now…
Always good to see BOW back again. So zombies… they are always coming back. It was nice to hear more about The Walking Dead game.
Wrath of kings have some beautiful models and is a very lovely starter set.
If I should chose 3 of the new sets from GW it would be Skiitari, Nurgle, and Undead. A thing to remember whit the Demon sets for AOS is they can also be used in you 40k armies.
Love the walking dead so very excited by the new offering. Would be great to see the story progress in the game and different versions of the main characters to reflect this.
I thought that FFG was prohibited from doing a Star Wars tabletop game because someone else had the rights. That’s why Imperial Assault is a board game.
shut up and take my money
more zombie games! 😀
Looking forward to that Walking dead game! If I were to buy one of the GW starters I think I would go with the Tau.
The Walking Dead game seems interesting and the Battle Systems new terrain will work well with it, but it’s the Zombie niche pretty full right now? I know zombiecide is a board game but if you want to fight against zombies isn’t it where it’s at right now?
Really looking forward to a Walking Dead game.Looks really good
Some modern terrain could be good. Good to see you back from new years as well!
I’m not really a TWD fan, TV or comic, but I’ll be watching the KS at least, since I’ve backed every Mantic game since Deadzone.
I still think these geedub boxes are them ceasing beating you with a board with nails in it, removing the nails, then resuming beating you and saying “how much nicer is this now? Cash or credit?”
Thanks guys for pulling some juicy bits of info out of Ronnie. I am sure I will be in on the Kickstarter too.
Great vid. Love all then information you guys put out.
Oh Mantic why do you keep on taking my money? i have to say that I am looking forward to The Walking Dead game. If they kickstarter this I am in…….
I think the 40k boxes are just fine since they come with a formation. This allows you to ally the box with any current army you have or just run it by itself. They probably aren’t as balances as the AOS boxes, but could work.
Great stuff, I am looking forward to the Walking Dead!!
I’ve managed to resist the whole zombie thing so far…let’s see how long I can keep that up!
Great way to start the year. The walking Dead sounds great.
Hope you guys had a good break! Really enjoyed this weekender and not because I was having withdrawals. Starter sets for me would be Nurgle, Undead and Orcs. tau or Necrins for 40K
Beautiful, Walking Dead looks great.
Walking dead sounds great, and it appears that they have great ideas to minimize complications and maximize the benefit that Kickstarters bring. Would love it even more if they support FOW as part of the game. Thus you never know unless you spot what is coming the zombie hordes. Esp if you are corraling zombies into attacking your enemies from a blind position. Woo hoo!
I’d love to see the Walking Dead game!
I can’t wait for Walking Dead! Although the KoW minis also look pretty!
Although I agree with @warzan about the space marine box not been sexy I think 98% of space marine armies will have at least 1 unit of each of the choices in the new box so it’s probably not a bad place to start and it kinda fits with the fluff of the army for me a slow advancing mass of brutality.
I’ve got to admit.. those £40 starter sets are actually kind of tempting and certainly not a bad saving on purchasing the models individually. The IG and Tau sets look particularly good! Damnit, must not get back into 40K..
I have to agree with Warren, the Age starter boxes are all quite enticing, the 40k maybe only the Tau for me.
Wrath looks amazing
Not the weekend to send an answer but an awesome show as usual. I really like what GW have done with these new box sets, would like to some some other factions, maybe they will come out in the Spring. Zombicide you will love, great tactical game and very frustrating; in a good way when you realize you are going to be over run by dozens of zombies. So after saying that I am really looking forward to Mantics take on The walking Dead. Keep up the good work guys and nearly two hours long, time flew by with you lot giving us a great program.
Well I swore when AoS came out I would have nothing to do with it, but I must confess the slaves to darkness box does tempt me. Not to play AoS but I think the minis would combine well with the Abyssal Army I just got from Mantic. I woould also probably be interested in Elves or Dark Elves if they were released.
Will probably also pledge to the walking dead KS. I hope it comes with varied and as many 3D pieces of terrain as possible.
Enough talk already lets get this Kickstarter going. I for one can’t wait!
I stand against the darkness.
Totally psyched for this game, the more info that leaks the more and more I want it All and want it now.. this will be my most anticipated game of 2016.
I hope they make a biker gang type faction for Walking Dead, that’d be cool.
love the zombie genre, looking forward to the new release; I should have all the DS minis painted by then!
Going to be interesting to see how it works or expands out of TWD show.
I love how excited you guys get over games. It makes me think it’s OK to be a gamer!
Walking dead!
Personally Im looking forward to Mantic releasing The Walking Dead. Ive a couple of friends who are huge fans of the show and comic and are non gamers. Im hoping this might change that.
The GW starter forces are a good idea. And I agree with Justin, I would go with the Space Marines.
Love the walking dead so interested in the game but I’m also a huge zombicide fan so they have some major competition for my funds.
Looking forward to seeing the return of Blood Bowl.
Walking dead sounds great look forward to hearing more
Looking forward to a great new year of gaming, the walking dead looks like a must
Love the goblin heros and can’t wait to kick zombie butt as carol!. “bring out your dead!”
I’d love to win some Mantic terrain 🙂
It’s a great idea to make the Walking Dead into a skirmish game!
Zombicide Black Plague looks great but I’m also waiting for the Walking Dead!
What Range of 4ground do you think is great for Warmachine scenery? Maybe morenburg, great looking buildings for gángsters war, also prior to prohibition, gangster earn profit with store protection and illegal lotery, damm hot this zombicide!
Whilst I can see Warren’s points about the 40K Space Marine starter set, I’d buy it as well just for the lower price on a set of Marines and a dreadnaught.
I like Mantic’s Battlezone terrain, I hope I’ll like the Brick Town too 🙂
Looks great, I can’t wait to pledge!
