the weekend starts now, go and get your copy of the greatest movie ever made, pop it in the vcr and enjoy
late again
It’s the Weekend… another long one too!
@warzan, Sven Hassles Vets escaping Nazi Science Dungeons sounds like a fun alternate mission for Incursion to be honest….
Agreed mate!
I wanted to buy Ash Wastes… but not at that price.
Maybe buy a box of Tuskan Raiders… I mean Tuskan Nomads for RPG usage.
Do want that terrain if they release it at reasonable price later.
Ooh… I’m last again! ?
Ash wastes miniatures are brilliant but I don’t like the rumoured price. I love Dunkeldorf miniatures and probably that’s who I’ll rather give my money to. @FCostin Hero Forge Star Wars competition is a 60 minute great distraction – here’s my attempt to encourage the rest of the community… so it’s easy to have a go yourself https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D30395599/
Don’t forget to link it on the competition page as well if you haven’t already
Those fleas would look good with some Kroot on them
Yay its weekender times.
watch out pascals about.
So @warzan is wanting fleas for his birthday strange but hay hoo if that floats his boat? it could be worse.
I love the Necromunda gubbins. Do I love it enough to pay the rumoured price? Really not sure.
So this is going to be the 16th and 17th Rulebooks for Necromunda that GW have released since 2017 (and I think 5 of them are now redundant), AND lets not forget those “limited”/FOMO Gang Tactics and terrain cards you’ll also need. For me I’m stepping away from Necromunda at this point. The rules are a mess (the minis are nice), but the fact you can’t buy half the rules/card packs weeks after (in some cases 20 minutes) they hit the pre-order store means it’s impossible for anyone to come into the game now and get all the rules they… Read more »
Or, you can just play with the original 90’s rule set. You are forced to upgrade and there are many people who rather play the old simpler rules.
you say older and simpler, I say better 😉
who says they will play the fleabags in 40K ?
Curis’s space dwarfs cute as the Dickens. Sorely tempted.
I read a lot of Sven’s books many, many years ago and sometimes found myself getting flashbacks when I was reading/listening to GW’s Gaunt’s Ghosts. This is a good thing.
Having just received my Wolfenstein KS bundles from SFG and with access to Reichbusters, I so want to do a pulpy RPG or skirmish game based on the idea of weird science/occult-tech in and around the Third/Fourth Reich and the Thule Society, etc. Being able to add in some characterful models like the ones from Offensive Miniatures would just be epic.
The new D&D miniatures look quite interesting. Price point will be the deciding factor here. There current range of unpainted minis are certainly good value. Stargrave seems to be showing that Joe McCulloigh is going from strength to strength. Stargrave really is a nice balance of wargame and rpg. I played the previous Dystopian Wars and the new minis are a lovely update. The previous minis are still great minis but the new ones are a step up, the addition of the French is a great expansion to the world. I thing GW finally jumped the shark with Ash Wastes.… Read more »
the tycho terrain would be good for bond octopussy?
nice one guys.
The Firefly game sounds tempting. I was tempted by the Ash Wastes release, but can’t justify the price for a game I barely play.
Amazing show! Looking forward to next week.
Love the French Dystopian ships ?
A less happy weekend, but glad The Weekender is here.
I did try getting the Redemptor base coated in Black,
but without my lamp, I hated it, and so stopping.
With my backing of Clash of Katanas, I’ve received a pdf copy of Clash of Spears.
I have some Athenians here somewhere that I got for SPQR, but never got around to doing them.
So I might expand on them, and try Clash of Spears at sometime.
That Tycho Starport is cool, but I’ve really been enjoying using the card terrain from Acid House for my Infinity.
I like how Pascal made an appearance when Gerry was talking about the cat
I’m sure I’ve met the inspiration for that Agnes mini last time I was in Coleraine…
lol
Squint a little and those ash wastes sand people are nurgle marines. They have the same sillhouette and similar pallete
Well left it till Sat morning to watch and had perfect start to bank holiday weekend, so started watching, and then postie turns up with my Raveneye book from Infinity with mini, and a pack of Warbases hex bases for BT 2.5 Terrain Mark 2.
Love Warrens idea for Reichbusters using the Sven Hassel squad….
Read those books back in the day…
Funny how many people you find of are fans.
I agree the figures are cool but Reichbusters is a terrible game.
