It's OTTWeekender time! Warhammer: The Old World is coming sooner rather than later! Two big new armies for Bretonnia and Khemri are going to be launching this look back at classic Warhammer Fantasy Battles on the tabletop from Games Workshop.
We have a look at the new rules, the new miniatures and all of the returning plastic and metal models for both forces. We also have a look ahead at what's could be coming for the other factions in Warhammer: The Old World. What classic Warhammer miniatures will you be digging out of your collection? Will you be starting entirely from scratch with some of the miniatures?

It looked fun, but not fun enough for me to buy into something at £150+ per army…
However… I am tempted to start a new army for a mass battle instead of a wargame and the main contender for me at the moment is Kings of War.

I may pick up some Wood Elves when they drop but will most likely play Kings of War more!!
Always loved the Bretonnians but just went to preorder and found everything is out of stock! Either GW is playing silly ‘bxxxxxs’ and fuelling the potential auction site scalpers or the GW market research dept has woefully underestimated the demand for these products? Remember there was a huge anti-GW backlash when the Old World was killed off to be replaced by Age of Sigmar and GW are doing punters no favours by being ‘out of stock’ on the first day of pre-ordering! I can understand selling out on the release date but for a pre-ordering process is simply bad business.… Read more »

Great weekender. I’ve got a Dungeonalia project in mind, I daresay Gerry won’t approve but it’s ok, I’m not in it for the prizes, I just want to get back to doing some hobby now the youngest is over the 6 month mark and the sleepless nights are getting a little more sleep filled.
I never played Old World, it looks good.
