Gerry has been able to tinker around with the Wolfenstein board game from Archon Studio which is currently on Kickstarter. He gives us his thoughts about the game and its miniatures too.

Another great show, highlight of my week so far, It was great to hear Adam from Blacklist games go through what’s planned and it really is a lovely set. Really looking forward to Gerrys Wolfenstein Uboxing and build as the game looks like great fun.

Quick word of warning on Blacklist, a company currently failing to deliver their last big KS since the start of fulfillment last October. Many of us have been waiting for six months for our missing products. Read the updates for Street Masters Aftershock and adjust your expectations accordingly.

the undead leviathan is really a nice centerpiece model, just got to figure out how to fit it in and when or where to use it…that is the difficult one.
I like the idea of it being used as a little bit of a background terrain piece which ends up having an effect on both warbands etc on the tabletop.

Hey guys, good show as usual.
Word of caution on Unreleased miniatures. Took a friend of mine 7-8 months to get his stuff after 3 attempts at them mailing his order. He also said the quality was not the best. I also tried ordering from them and after 5 months and two attempts at them mailing it hem to me I gave up and got a refund. In the end I’d just recommend converting existing middle earth models for what you need or blue stuff casting Shields etc…
Just not worth the hassle.
Ah that is a shame. I know some folks who got a bunch of characters from there and they were fine. Guess it won’t be the same for everyone.
I wonder how many invites Mr Cavill has received to joining gaming groups

Rangers of Shadow Deep is a great game. I untilise my Westfalia Halflings for my Ranger and his companions. My profile picture is one of my rangers companions. I also use Westfalia Women of The North as well.
Brilliant stuff – love the idea of tweaking it to suit you 🙂

To be fair, thanks to the ‘Henry Cavill painting Warhammer’ news I have had more friends ask about the hobby ingave with more of a genuinely enquiring tone than the normal laughing tone!

Happy Friday….another cracker show lads, Warren cheap option for Rangers of Shadow deep Buildings would be http://www.davesgames.net/ you can purchase them for as little as $2, you just print them out, cut and clue onto card and can be shrunk and printed out in 15mm would be perfect for you and your kids to work on.

It’s a realistic timeframe I think. They are done with prototyping so they are basically collection pre-orders and “just need to start producing”. And that could take some time in the current situation.
they also need Bethseda’s approval for things, the core set was still running through final approval of the figures the week before the launch. That delays matters

Another Great Weekender with all the new materials in the hobby. Gripping Beast has a nice new set of miniatures for the game and will have to checkout the free Mantic rules.
