Monolith's Conan is making its way out to Kickstarter backers and we've been able to crack open a copy of the game and take a look at all the amazing miniatures and other components in this game.
This truly is a stunning product and we can't wait to play it!

It’s the Weekend!! With a weekender that”s jjust about to unbox the second of three mini based KS boxes that are overdue and I’m still waiting on (seen DFC, you don’t have the new Myth stuff by any chance to complete the trio?). Ho-hum! Bought a couple of Malifaux modela to do in the meantime…
The Malidaux train is gorgeous. A bit of fluff to back it up…
This is the train that carries people through The Breach – the portal between our world and the world of Malifaux. It’s featured in a few of the stories, available through the four books, their Chronicles PDF magazine and their Breachside Broadcast podcast. Lors of fluff for an awesome game.
You think you get a lot of minis in tge Conan retail box? Wait until you see the KS stretch goals…

You remember watching news footage of Harriers? I remember them sliwing down (!?!) Over our house before they dropped down into the woods nearby. Have I mentioned my early teen years growing up on RAF bases in Germany in the 70s?
I want the Phantoms and Lightenings too. They were the soundtrack…

I saw a sea harrier demo at RAF Finningley (now Robin Hood airport) in 1982. It flew BACKWARDS! It was AMAZING!
got my conan a few days ago two huge boxes of awesome, colours of models is heroes and villains, the model justin said was conan isnt conan lol its a bad man, heroes are all in the lighter shade including the wolf which is one of the heros pet
so glad you are covering kingdom death monster.it is in my opinion the most beautiful game on the market. I was fortunate enough to jump on as a late backer and i’m excited to see what Adam has up his sleeve for the kickstarter. I fully expect the reprint to go bananas.
quality like this doesn’t come cheap though so save your pennies. you won’t regret it.
with you all the way on dungeon crawlers, narrative is the future. I expect to see more imperial assault style skirmish games built into a board game style delivery that builds the tactical options and the narrative with the expansions.
I think you will love the video content. It’s the 4th campaign I have started, and I am still shocked and surprised by the game…. so stay tuned.

Well, the Conan box looks really, really interesting. Not to mention, the quality of the stuff showed is sweet 🙂
I just need to look at the Team Yankee stuff.
I got diagnosed with a spine problem this week where i either stay like a zombie with the meds from now on or take the plunge with very risky surgery, so its been a shitty week.
What i needed was a good chuckle and a boost to the old system which you guys delivered in spades. I nearly wet myself when the vaseline came out post butternut stroking and thoroughly enjoyed the show.
It seems as though the gaming gods smiled down upon me at such a troublesome time as i also had my Dropfleet commander box arrive which is the dogs doo dahs….the rulebook is gorgeous and i have been engrossed with the fluff, hats of to Dave and the chaps at Hawk.
Glad we could lift some spirits after a bad week, enjoy your Dropfleet this week! 😀

For the one time I’m watching Weekender on a bus, squash stroking happens. Giggling out loud, I had to put my phone away in worry that someone might catch a glimpse of what the hell is that dude watching in public. 😀
Regarding Conan: I got my pledge this week and man is that stuff beautiful. The minies are so well sculpted and detailed that “it’s a board game” excuse doesn’t apply for not playing with unpainted.
i must say i excited by some of the stuff on star saga, especially those new mercs concept (why dont they call them bounty hunters btw, its cooler than mercs which can be confused with the other mini game)…
But i am wary as mantic has a great history of not living up to its promises rulewise And miniatures concept-wise.
i remember not very fondly of the huge gap between deadzone 2 recon trooper ks exclusive : very cool concept with top notch helmet… to be served with a moot halo like trooper that doesnt look like a recon troop at all (wearing a heavy helmet and a grenade launcher ???
Justin, watch Grand Budapest Hotel. Do it now. No, put down that miniature, turn off the Xbox, watch it.
Although personally I enjoy The Darjeeling Limited more.
Also good to see Baldrick got his dream turnip.
Of course, Rushmore is Anderson’s best. And you should really watch The Royal Tenembaums too, Justin. In fact, just take the week off and watch all of them in order 🙂

Interesting piccie of Justin…..kind of looks like he should be on the boxed set for “Spartacus – War of the Damned”. Just replace the sweatshirt with a leather harness and loin cloth and…….erm….hang on…..maybe not…….
Received my Conan Kickstarter package this week. The game is great fun – and the minis (with the exception of the lion) are fantastic. Hope to get another game in tonight 🙂

Great show guys…….you do realize you will have to change your name to “CARRYON BEAST OF WAR” with all the nuendo with the butternut and last week with the Chaos minature with the purple arm, veins and with the ball hanging, lol..loving it lads just brill….but one question does Justin really not get want your on about Warren sometimes….lol

Gahhh, sometimes I really hate living in Australia (only sometimes), I would love to back that small terrain kickstarter (can’t make terrain to save my life), but shipping costs more than the actual pledge!

Dark Age starters sets, so shiny so tempting, Must exercise self-control.
Blood Bowl returns, time to dust off the Old Dwarfen Grudgebearers team, time to settle some grudges and crack some skulls.
Sweet merciful Ancestors that brewery looks magnificent, it actually looks functional, as though the crew at 4Ground have actually based the internal layout on a real Brewery.
Conan, *Jaw Drops* WOW, by Crom! Those minis look spectacular, correction, the entire contents of that box looks unspeakably awesome, once again I suffer temptation.
Star Saga, that’s it, I give in. Will be in on that Kickstarter ASAP.
Purgatory also looks very tempting, the concept and imagery look incredible.
