It’s all coming up PK right now ??
Clickbait! Almost got me!
Heroics and Ros are great! Never played or watched Fall Out. I do own two games just haven’t gotten around to playing them. I may need to finally delve into that universe
Great games. You should really play them.
OnTableTop! I want to beat that cheeky danny76
Never! I shall keep winning, the streak must continue!
jammy donut!
I like these weekly videos
Happy weekender everyone. I’m planning a hobby based weekend. Just me, audio book and the paints. As a warp minis Macworld fan tt combat are pulling me in on half tilt but want to save my pennies for the big bad clash when when warcradel are ready to release.
Hi weekender COGz an OTTers ✨?✨
It’s easy @dignity you just need a bigger hammer?.
Cyclops was called Rell in Krull and played by Bernard Bresslaw.
Ooh nice one do they have the Tirpitz guy’s.
Pillar Boxes? Crumbs!
Quick, someone get me some Danger Mouse minis, STAT!
I don’t remember the song from SHARPE @avernos ??
WATERLOO Guy’s ?!??
If I comment, am I win?
– asking for a friend.
Does your house have a Braddock near you Gerry??
Bloody auto correct that’s ment to say beanstalk ??
The snakeoil saleman has the new Covid cure ?
Just like the horses in the great war then.
Happy weekender
Those Fallout minis are amazing
I smell a rat … lots of rats.
So is Preston like that gitt Burk then ?
Looking forward to trying out Fallout Factions. Have a great weekend folks!
I’ve never been into the Fallout universe but the games are very tempting.
Lloyd is going to love the armoured train for sure that one ☝
Fab show guy’s ?
cant wait to see the unboxing of fallout factions
Man that is a lot of content. Definitely want that AoS starter set! Fallout Factions looks brilliant as well.
I’m on holiday in Wales, have just played a couple of games of Darktide (the miniatures game of the computer game of the miniatures game) with the lad and you know what, it’s good fun.
GA-DAY FRIDAY,Oh the mighty Krull,classic…..sure the actor Bernard Bresslaw who played the cyclops also played Gort the Giant in another classic…HAWK THE SLAYER!!
Thanks for my weekly wargaming update guys.
I’m just getting over a bout of the covids, so nice to get up to speed again with some friendly faces.
Another Friday… watch another show, oh go on then. Happy weekender folks
That new fallout game looks ace!
Hands up everyone who was traumatised like Justin by Preston Garvey? ✋
The One Box Wargame contest sounds like a lot of fun.
The link to nuke world would not work for me. ? (so far out of my comfort zone with that thing)
My weekend starts here! No more worky!
Heroics & Ros have been in my wargaming life from the start. The first micro armour I ever owned and went on to expand to be WW2 playing firefly, modern using challenger and napoleonics with empire 3rd edition. I still have a lot of my collections stored in boxes in the man cave. Just can’t bring myself to part with them , even though the 6mm scale is not in fashion with the gaming circles I now dance in. Too many good times.
You say Friday night, I say Saturday morning. Potato/Tomato.
Have a great week of gaming!
Assembled my first mini tonight. Eager to get in deeper. OTT is my guide!
oooh what mini?
3mm it is so tiny.
I would lose them quickly. I’m too careless
Krittok and the Storm Vermin… the Khador Corps or Skavenkind?
I’ve always liked the more “historical” ranges from Heroics and Ros (by that I mean anything period without tanks). The figures are probably the best proportioned out there (compared to Baccus and Adler), BUT the detail has to be painted on as the surface detail isn’t there.
The other 6mm ranges have the surface detail, but this has meant the figures are ill proportioned as these details are often exaggerated.
The BIG news in 6mm this month was the fact H&R had picked up the Adler ranges (looking to starting production in October). Now personally I prefer these over the Baccus ranges (Baccus has never been able to do horses for some reason), BUT the feature of this range is the exaggerated head size (a deliberate design choice by the sculptor to help differentiate figure from each other). The previous owner/sculptor of Adler had announced his retirement earlier on this year and there was a fair few panicking Wargamers out there you hadn’t finished their armies yet 😀
H&R advertised themselves until I believe very recently as 5mm (1/300)
The lack of research on Fallout Factions is a bit embarrassing given it’s splashed all across the titles 😀
Don’t know how well Fallout will transfer to the tabletop though that big bottle mini looks really awesome.
Don’t know how fallout plays but the tv show was great, so definitely intrigued..
You need to do Irregular Miniatures as an Indie soon
Irregular would be good (as they seem to make one of “everything under the sun”), if you can’t find a mini of it, Irregular probably have one somewhere.
I’ve also prodded Gerry about doing Ground Zero Games as an Indie article as well, they’ve got some nice stuff and Gerry seems to have done everyone else who produced sci-fi minis in 15mm (as well as all those Space Ships). Another nice one (for the Grognards out there) would be Caviler Books, as they’ve got a lot of old but good ranges hidden away there that they manufacture (such as Matchlock Miniatures and even Minifigs) problem there on doing an article is Caviler Books website doesn’t have pictures 🙁
Trying to think of any other “veteran” Indie companies out there that we might have forgotten about. Problem is what we remember as being good 20 years ago, might not be so today (which is why taking a fresh look would be interesting.
I was born in the late 80s but my dad always gave me a good education in classic fantasy/sci fi. Krull was always one of my favourites; the camp is real
Nice one 🙂
Chlorophyll as a name for an Elf seems appropriate
Fallout Factions sounds much better for me if I were to foray into the minis from the games.
Not too many models, progression campaigns, perfect.
Pretty sure the F-22 is for US defence only?
@dammitprawn it is US only. Export versions are F-35, and aren’t quite the same.
Might need to add more Fallout minis to my collection.
Dr Snuggles, friend of the animal world.
When you were talking about riding camels for just a momen tI thought you said riding cavills, and in Henry Cavill. No role too big, no cameo too small and all that.
I need to keep my eyes open for the Last War.
Would it be wrong to put eyes on Mad Bobs trains and then invade the Isle of Sodor and defeat that capitalist pig dog the Fat Controller?
Demoed the fallout game at UKGE. Great looking board. Game seemed thematic and fun.
I might have to pop my Malifaux cherry with that Rotten Harvest box.
Of course, even a talk about LotR minis would be a long, drawn out affair. 😛
Great Show guys, who would have thought I needed some Vietnam Rules in my life, I sure didn’t, until now.
Also received Fallout Factions so will be looking forward to getting that to the table at some point. It’s got to join the waiting list though.
If you’re looking for grimdark trains in the 1’s and 0’s https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/engine3d/modular-wartrains may be worth a gander. It finished recently but believe they’re still accepting late pledges
we looked at it with Lloyd on a weekender when it was running
mmm those skaven for deadzone would be nice.
Haven’t seen much Malifaux lately. They look fantastic.
I should at least try to make something for the one box thing.
Great show. I’ve been getting into 6mm to 15mm games, so the indy was informative!
So as one who hasn’t played the Fallout PC game but seen the show, would this or the Wasteland set be the better option, or both, and will the Hollywood Heroes ever be restocked!
Another great weekender.
Happy weekender everyone. The fallout miniature game intrigues me but I’ve yet to take the plunge.
great show as normal
Nice to see Justin pumped about the new Fallout. Look forward to hearing his take on Nuka World.
More for the pile, yeeesss-yeeesss!
You can win more than once! Yippee!!
The Halfing Tilt looks interesting. Be cool if they sold the rulebook separate and i could run some Halflings on Aralez down the Lists. The Krull miniatures look beautiful, fairplay Crooked dice have knocked it out of the park!
Some class fallout minis
