Leg days… For this I first had to cut and sand 36 parts from plastic cardboard, which are identical in groups of 4 and 8, 20 of which have circular openings, some of which have to fit exactly over each other in two layers. For cutting, I cut and sanded a template from thicker plastic cardboard for each shape of a group and reinforced the edges with superglue, with which I could then cut 4 or 8 identical pieces from 1mm plastic cardboard. I then glued the parts of such a group on top of each other at 2 points in order to sand the edges all exactly the same straight and flush. After this was done, I could start to construct the ‘upper leg’ and ‘lower leg’ (still without the part to which the feet will later be attached in a movable way) and then to cover and blend the sides…
