Imperial Raiders Appear For Star Wars Armada

Fantasy Flight Games terrific fleet battle game, Star Wars Armada has released a familiar face to X-Wing players.

The Imperial Raider was a huge ship for X-Wing and now it has crossed over to Star Wars Armada. This intermediary ship can compliment your fleet filling the gap between fighters and larger capital ships.

You will see that this ship is highly manoeuvrable and is designed to take care of those pesky rebel fighters. There are several options for playing this model as either the Impetuous or Instigator versions.

It is nice to see more options for the game as I was concerned how many big ships can they come up with. This one had the full backing of LucasArts and they helped with the design. I can see these making their way into winning list at tournaments.

I will have to add some to our collection and see how they play.
