September 19, 2025 by brennon
It's OTTWeekender Time! In this week's episode, we dive into Écorcheurs!, a brand-new Medieval skirmish game that is definitely unmissable! Coming from Gripping Beast and Robert W. Jones, this could be a great skirmish game for those who want to nail the realism of Medieval combat on the tabletop.
Écorcheurs! comes from Historian Robert W. Jones and features well-researched rules on Medieval combat whilst being built for narrative and story-driven campaign games on the tabletop, charting the fortunes of the English and French during the Hundred Years' War.

At least you can claim the coveted First spot 😉
Any minute now
Cat video. They’ll stop at nothing to get the views.
Yay it’s weekender time people’s 👍
Good one guy’s 👍
The Fists of Ultramar look like hockey goalie gloves.
Nah; as a goalie, I can attest they’re just massive Warrior brand goon gloves!

To many interesting historical games out at the moment. 😂
I just started Pillage and get the Barons War stuff as soon as it is available here again. So I “might” pass this one. 🤪
I reckon your Barons’ War minis would be perfect for Erococheurs
French, the carolingians were french. Proving that mocking them has become so ingrained in your habits that you don’t even need to identify them to do it.
“I fart in your general direction, you English Ka-niiiiiigits!”
It starting to be difficult not starting a medieval game with all these great releases.
Another great weekender
No Gerry this week as he’s off being 3D scanned for all those models of him that keep being sculpted. Justin is up next.
Hoping they don’t chop Justin’s fun bits off for revenge.
Hope they put him on a square base or there will be trouble 🤣
That’s how we got Helm Hammerhand for Middle Earth, sometimes the risk is worth taking.
More stuff to buy. It never ends 🤣
Medieval skirmish seems very in vogue right now.
Good stuff this week!
The Carolingians look amazing. So much character. like them alot!
The OmniCops are cool except for the riot squad. It doesn’t make much sense to hold a riot shield as far away from yourself as possible.
