Gnomes are going to be coming to the tabletop soon for Games Workshop's Blood Bowl. Could this well be the best Blood Bowl team we've seen in a long time? The Glimdwarrow Groundhogs are here to prove themselves!

The Glimdwarrow Groundhogs are a fantastic set of miniatures. There are fourteen of them in total with eight Linemen, two Illusionists and two Beastmasters. You also get your choice of animal companions with badgers, geese and foxes for you to send after the ball. All of the sculpts are absolutely gorgeous and they almost don't look like they've come from the world of Warhammer.

The set also comes with a variety of thematic balls which match the Gnomes plus you've also got a couple of awesome terrain pieces and tokens. It's always nice seeing what the design team do when it comes to that spare space on the plastic sprue. I think that a lot of folks might be picking up these Gnomes for games other than Blood Bowl you know.

Gnomish Accessories

If you're a big fan of the Gnomes then you can also get your hands on some thematic accessories.

You can get thematic dice, a card pack for quick reference, a full Blood Bowl pitch which is double-sided (representing a magical forest) and also the dugouts that match. If you're looking to put on a home game then this will aid you in setting the scene.

Star Players!

Capping things off, you can also get your hands on a Star Player and a Big Guy for your Gnome team. A good way for you to add some extra punch and perhaps turn the tide on your opponent!

Rodney Roachbait // Blood Bowl

Rodney Roachbait (above) will be looking to hook the ball from right under the nose of your opponent and get it passed on quickly to a teammate. He seems like he has a good angler's eye. All you'd need to do is replace the ball on the end and you'd have a wonderful miniature for different games.

Lastly, there is also the Gnome Treeman who can hold the line of scrimmage and make sure that no one gets to your squat team of miscreants.
