Yay the Weekender has been released 💥
Happy weekender to you all. I like the look of the new Warlord epic offering, tremendous detail over a large range. Made me think what will they be releasing to support Pike and Shott epic as it seems they ticked the boxes on release. I’d expect commander minis, Cromwell/ fairfax and others, maybe a storming party in place of the skirmishers released for the black powder epics. I’m guessing also units for the Irish and Scottish. Maybe a regimental pack of Ironsides…they really are very nice and I wonder where warlord go next, although I’m betting once more on Romans… Read more »

Durn that prospector is my old Brimstone character to a tee. Some easy RPG characterisation – just a mix of Grampa Simpson shaking a fist at clouds and the authentic frontier gibberish scene from Blazing Saddles.
I must admit I do like Bombshell Miniatures Babes range and indeed you can see my renditions of Artie the Zombie Hunter and Professor Karrick in my From the Weird Workbench project blog https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1558061/ to use in pulp like games. They are really characterful sculpts and were a joy to paint. 🤗🤗🤗 I just wish there were more UK Based distributors of these US minis and at reasonable prices (Is this something OTT could look at in expanding its ranges of miniatures and manufacturers @warzan?) .
