The Battle of Adrades at Salute 2016
I think we may have found the longest running build here at Salute, a 40mm scale project that has ran for over 8 years. What do you think of their hard efforts?

Richard Sharpe approves of this table.
Huzzah!
great looking table & models
I’ve seen 40mm gaming, and wow it works well.
Love the buildings. Wished mine looked that good.Terrain looks great too.
Beautiful table. I am not so mich a historic wargamer (well at least I don’t play historic games… with my age I might be counted to be historic myself) 😉 but this table is just fine!
Just fantastic. I’m so into sci-fi and fantasy but I soooo feel the pull back into historicals with games like this
does hakewell have his rope burn mark? “for he cannot be killed”.
that looks so awesome, good job
Sharpe should get his own game! Who’s dropping the ball on this?
Take a look at Sharp Practice from Too Fat Lardies – or a Song of Drums and Shakos.
and I thought three years is a long time to built a table, what a fool I am 😀
nice
8 years! That’s passion and dedication to your hobby right there. It comes out in the presentation as well, look amazing
40mm is a great scale, so much detail in the minis, but still small enough to have many models on the table.
That’s looking pretty sharpe!
8 years of building and i don’t even paint my own figure. My hats off!!
The tables that all the different clubs bring to the show are one of the highlights
Thats some years invested there and you can tell great work
One word: Dedication (with a Sheffield accent 😉 )
I love Sharpe books. Bernard Cornwell and Simon Scarrow are my favourite historical fiction writers. I really enjoyed looking at the this table and took my own pictures.
another beautiful table. thats the reason I go for salute now, to go admire people works.
Yay, Battle of Adrades!
I wouldn’t want to collect 40mm, but it can certainly look stunning on the tabletop. This gaming table was another highlight of Salute.
