Geesh, wondering how much an all-in is going to be for this.

During some GenCon interviews they said the base game will be $120 and the dragon is a $60 add on. Plus they’ve mentioned multiple expansions, including the castle walls.

How about the name — Adramelech: Arch Demon whose name means, “King of Fire” (From the fantasy series, The Desdemona Chronicles)

The Irish are not tasty but they may be full of beer 🙂 Come on, ever dragons like beer 🙂

the dragon should be called “Puff” or “Darrel” (Stargate SG1 Season 9-10 Reference)

My son’s cuddly dragon he’s had since a baby is called Derek. I didn’t know he was named after such a prestigious historical dragon! 😉

See, I’d convinced myself I didn’t need to save up for Joan of Arc, and I could wait until Mythic Battles: Ragnarok…now I’m not so sure. Sacre bleu!

Ignis Daemonium – fire demon
Derek sounds like someone in a cardigan, wearing slippers and watching the Antiques Road Show.

“The one with the, the pet cat with him?” – oh @dignity – you crack me up sometimes! 😀 😀
Still can’t get over the size of the Dragon… I am thinking Leo isn’t so keen on the dragon being named ‘Derrick’ – not exactly striking terror into mortal’s hearts! 🙂
The scenario play sounds like it will be a lot of fun, and I like that the terrain will be an important part of the game.

Sounds like it might be quite the buy in but maybe not so bad as it will be 15mm.

As a representation of Satan himself the Dragon should be named something like: Faergoth Fell-Fire…F is the sixth letter in the alphabeth and repeated three times would be 666! Gilles de Rais was accused of being a child murderer, having been responsible for killing around 200 children of all ages in his chambers at his castle. He told at his trial that he sometimes hung them from hooks and ropes and gutted them with daggers and poignards or strangled them. Sometimes he took them in when they came to his gates to beg for food and dressed them as pages… Read more »

While explosives may not have been used, “sappers” had been using undermining tactics to bring down castle walls from the early 13th century. Dig under the wall, lay lots of flammable material and set fire to it.
Castle design in the 13th-14th century had alredy begun to change shape to adapt to this tactic.

Moats being one of the most effective ways of preventing undermining. Artillery was the cutting edge development mid-14th century – something the French were initially better at.

That Dragon. Would have to call it Samael . Angel of Death & Prince of the air. Considered to be Satan’s true name. Said to have been the serpent who tempted Eve.

oh my this game…cant wait for KS to start. I would call the dragon Isfet meaning “injustice”, “chaos”, or “violence”; as a verb, “to do evil”.

I would imagine a game of this scale buy in would be 99.00 to 150 US. Conan by Monolith Buy in was 90 for the Barbarian pledge and MBP was 99.00. Monolith added tons of stretch goals for their backers for both games thanks to the wonderful Backers. I am sure the dragon and the archangel will be an expansion for the game. I think for both – the game and dragon would be around 150.00 or more.
