Of course, last weekend featured the US team, Sam, Justin and Gaz from Paranoid Miniatures going around Gen Con and they were able to dig out loads of awesome prizes from the companies there.

Wow – some appealing news… especially the Firelock ship combat game. It sounds like the right amount of thought has gone into an historically accurate but playable game.
Yeah I reckon that the Firelock guys have got a lot of awesome stuff to work with 🙂
When Sam shouted ‘Gringots’ to Dawn when discussing Caverns Deep KS, I thought he meant “we’re going to have to raid Gringots to afford this!”

Everybody likes some good fine, and I’m no exception. But sometimes I do have a bit of trouble creating it. At such times it’s wonderful to there is someone that can help with my fine sourcing needs. 🙂
I agree with Justin, Adeptus Titanicus gives a perfect option to get several titans at a price tag that is better than getting them for 40k. Plus I like the scale for these behemoths.
A lot easier to paint and a lot cheaper haha

Titans/Walkers fighting in a city in Adeptus Titaninicus sounds like Dropzone Commander to me… will be interesting to see if it even comes close.
That was exactly the thing that brought me into DzC in the first place. Recreating those great moments of creating huge battles spanning massive battlefields. Moments I first discovered with Titanicus, that were later picked up by a young company willing to give me what I wanted while GW was asleep at the wheel.
Likewise – Epic was a big inspiration for me in trying out (and subsequently loving) Dropzone Commander. I’d like to give Adeptus Titanicus a shot – if I can find a Grand Master box anywhere – but I do worry that it lacks some really important elements. One of those being small stuff. DZC is all about the vehicles and the movement, but you need the infantry for scale and context. They don’t detract from the vehicles but they have an important and interesting part to play in battle. The second being the interaction with terrain. So far I’ve seen… Read more »
That gaming table in the US studio is just stunning ?
Adeptus Titanicus sounds and looks awesome..apart from the price tag. But hearing they will sell the behemoths separately will give me a chance to paint some after all.
A Blood and Plunder naval game is a great idea and I’ll keep my eyes peeled. B&P plastics however will make me spend silly cash!!
Yeah they are going to be doing a range of kits for the different Titan types. I would imagine we’re going to see some conversion kits as well for different Houses and Chaos factions down the road too maybe.
I think the image of Sam’s shirt has been burnt into the back of my eyeballs!
That part of my screen is still glowing eerily!

Just got the rules for Blood and Plunder, now to see what i will do and which faction i will get.
Happy Weekend! Ok very belated. Looking forward to digital gloom haven, hopefully, will make it much more accessible in terms of price and ease of play over distance. I hope they do a Legion starter set with Clone Troopers plus Kenobi (or Anakin, or Ashoka, with the others as expansions) vs say Droid army. That would definitely push me over the edge into purchasing it. Though they might want to consider a more “gribbly” or different army rather than droids, not sure.
