there had been talk of a third game if there was a tie for overall winner, so it may have been possible without the evil genius moment that Michael came up with.

They are indeed a pretty cool idea.
That’s a creative use of the rules to get an achievement. Would be reason for a court martial under any other circumstances. But in this context I guess it’s all good fun.
