Doug Hamilton from Privateer Press talks through some of the decisions that go into his sculpting for models within the Warmachine & Hordes range and gives us a taste of what it's like within the studio.

If you have any questions you might want to get answered by Doug we'll ask him tomorrow!

Not a Legion player, but considering how good the warpwolf shown was, can’t wait to see tomorrow’s Legion beast 🙂

Great interview, lots of good questions were asked, and he’s right, keeping secrets is hard sometimes about new stuff. Look forward to the reveal tomorrow for the Legion models, can;t wait.

Great stuff! Doug is a good guy to have out dealing with the public for sure. Can’t wait to see this new Legion Beast he keeps taunting us with!

I like that Doug has tried to sculpt “Easter Eggs” into the models. Will have to check out Denny.

I hoped someone would ask him if there would be a resculpt of the other character units. Papa would like to see some new great bears. Also Doug seems like a pretty cool guy.

Can’t wait to see the new legion beast. I’m going to agree withlordsharik’s friend. Orgoth could be a upcoming faction. With the new editions story travelling to other lands I’d be surprised if they didn’t turn up.

I liked the insight into how the sculpting of miniatures is done.

If there’s a new Dwarf faction, I will buy it. The only exception would be if their art style annoys me, but that’s fairly unlikely from PP.

Could you ask him how they decide what material they use for which model and if there is a plan to move everything to hard plastics?

Fun interview, I really liked the ‘scale comparison between humans’-answer 😀

It’s very clear why PP would send Doug around to Cons and tournaments to do interviews and Q&A’s. He has such a way with words and with a crowd.
I also personally find it a lot more interesting to hear about the aesthetic side of things rather than rule design.

Clearly he needs a handler.

I’ve never watched any Q&A videos of any kind before but i’ve got to say that was bloody brilliant.

New faction, what ne faction, interesting how they create their own rumors and then try to hide the info, very sneaky but super exciting at the same time.

Informative stuff here. Well, except the ambiguity of a new faction. Is there a new faction? Is there not a new faction? Only time will tell! 😉
