Marines vs. Marines Deathmatch - Tulagi 1942
Here is a replay of our Sunday wargame stream, where Piotr and Oriskany Jim pitted “Marine vs. Marine” in a shootout between US Marines of 1st Raider Battalion and Japanese Marines of 3rd Kure SNLF.
The game was set up as an 80th Anniversary commemoration of assault on Tulagi in the Solomon Islands, 7 August 1942.
This was the first major combat in the Solomons campaign, the first big step for the Americans in the long “Road to Tokyo” that would burn its way across the Pacific in World War II.
The system is Valor & Victory by Barry Doyle – map and counters by myself.
