CMON Expo 2017 Live Blog – Win A CMON Swag Bag!

It's damn near impossible to not get sucked right into Rum & Bones once you see the lovely painted minis in the cases. They make it plenty easy for you to take the plunge into the game too, as they brought plentt of stock. Whether you need the base game or expansions, or all of it, for that matter- they have you covered.

There's nothing better than exploring the cases full of studio painted minis from CMON. The Wrath of Kings minis are looking amazing and tomorrow we'll be attending a seminar on Dark Age and Wrath of Kings- which I've been told, "you'll want to be at that one." Hmmmmmm. That sounds very promising. What will it mean?

So we just got out of the panel for A Song of Ice & Fire and I'm pumped! They repeated over and over..."if it's in the books, then it can make its way into the game." Oh the possibilities! I was most impressed with how vocal they are with really wanting to support the local game stores and encourage organized play.
Will there be dragons? "If it occurs in the books, it can appear in the game." Oh boy, am I looking forward to this one.
We'll be getting a demo of this over the weekend, so much more to come.

There's about every CMON title you can think of running. It's pretty awesome that you have the opportunity to try things out and if you love it, you can run right off to buy it.

How better to kick off the start of the Dark Age Immortals tournament than by a ceremonial stamp to the Bludgelt, the currency required for entrance in the tournament. With a hammer and anvil, Bryan stamped a skull into each Bludgelt and participants recieved an Immortals objective marker.

If you're looking for something fun (other than gaming), you can have a seat at the tables of bits and pieces and have a go at some creative assembly. The completed bits are proudly displayed in the Crystal Brush cases, and there is some seriously cool stuff. The giant dinosaur is by far my favorite.

One of the first stops to competing at the Crystal Brush at Adepticon, is winning the top place at CMON Expo. First place winner is granted their choice of $100 CMON product or airfare to compete in the Crystal Brush at Adepticon. Again, the talent never ceases to amaze me.

The tables have been busy all day, and even after scheduled demo times wrap up, open gaming continues. They have a wondeful game library for you to try out the titles you're interested in.

After recently being on Kickstarter, fans are super excited to try out Rising Sun. There's only one copy here, so it's really special to be lucky enough to get up to the table and take it out for a spin. What gorgeous miniatures!

What could possibly be better than Bot Battles? That's precisely what you have with Gekido. It's a fast and fun dice battle where you're rolling for combos to make your attacks. This is a great game for both new & veteran gamers.

I couldn't resist the chance to play some Zombicide Black Plague. We were doing a pretty fair job dealing with all the zombies- except for the damn Abomination! Tried as we might, we just couldn't seem to come up with the necessary items to take him out- but we had a great time trying.
