Could be a CSM, the original demos that Relic put out showed marines fighting cultists and CSM. I know that the dev team changed at some point, but I hope they didn’t scrap all the work that was done on Chaos stuff.

Either way, gonna wait till the reviews come out before I make my decision. Based on Relic’s previous endeavors, I’m expecting this to be a good game…but you never know….bad controls or broken mechanics could totally spoil this in a second.

The Original Demos with the chaos stuff, was made by relic, it was done by and austrailian company. Relic when they took it over decieded to use a different game engine so i am not sure if they will use the models from the leaked demo as that was made a few years ago now, i think they would create new Chaos stuff if it is Chaos and it certainly looks Chaos. I to am expecting this to be a good game goin based on Relics CV but this is there first 3rd person action adventure.

If you click the screen shot you’ll se a bigger version of it. It’s a Chaos marine in terminator armour.
I’m expecting great things from this game. Hopefully it’ll help bring more people in to the hobby.

personally my favorite quote is
“but in dawn of war” [X’s unit name] “does” [N number of awesome things.] “why doesn’t it work here and now?”
can you imagine if they make a squad of drop dead epically amazing marines?

either way I would love some new gamers to come out to the local gaming club, I really hope this new video game is able to add to the hobby.

Awesome! looking screenshot! from looking at it i agree with the folk of at Relic Forums, Relic being the chaps making, Who reckon it looks like a Khornate Terminator, looks very similar to the khornate term models from Forge World. I cannot wait for this game to come out, just to play it on my 50inch HD TV!!, It certainly is a good year for 40k video games, Dow 2 Retribution, Space Marine, Dark Millenium is meant to be out this year and there is a very high chance that Relics next big project which they will announce in August… Read more »

It looks fantastic, the crew that I game with and myself have had long drawn out talks over the video vs. the table top. We are all way to hooked into our hobby of the table top version. To consider even trying to go video 40k. Due to time constraints. However my oldest son is counting off the days til it drops.
